After the successful confrontation with the Root and Sand ninja, Kurogiri was pleased with the new captives he had in his possession. Despite their exhaustion and being trapped, his detection quirk enabled him to monitor their chakra levels and determine the best time to queen bee them. However, he swiftly redirected his focus towards the patrolling ninja, as he detected another group approaching the village.
Using his control over the Grass ninja, Kurogiri intercepted the group, who were dressed in purple outfits and had musical notes on their headbands. He instantly recognized them as the Sound ninja, wondering what the newly formed small ninja village wanted.
Orochimaru was thrilled to discover that the creature was responsible for the village's newfound changes and decided to head towards the village. As Orochimaru and his group were making their way to the village, he felt a group of grass ninja approaching.
As the Grass ninja surrounded them, Orochimaru remained unfazed, as he could sense that they were under Kurogiri's control. He politely requested that they take him to the village leader, expressing his admiration for Kurogiri and his role in his creation. Kurogiri was taken aback by Orochimaru's words but controlled one of the ninjas to inquire about his intentions.
After hearing Orochimaru's obsession with his regenerative abilities, Kurogiri realized that this ninja was truly responsible for his creation in this world. With his foresight, Kurogiri envisioned a future where he could have Orochimaru work for him, contributing to Kurogiri's kingdom-building plans.
He listened to Orochimaru go on about his abilities and obsession, seeing an opportunity to use his skills to his advantage. He knew he couldn't build his empire all by himself, and Orochimaru could serve as an asset for his scientific research.
Kurogiri had a plan to entice Orochimaru to join him by offering him the coveted life force quirk that could double his lifespan. He was confident that Orochimaru would be willing to join forces with him if he was given such a valuable quirk. Additionally, Kurogiri wanted to assess Orochimaru's strength by using his detection quirk.
He controlled the Grass ninja to lead Orochimaru's group closer to the village, while also having his Gigantomachia ready to protect him if necessary. Once Orochimaru approached within thirty feet of the village walls, Kurogiri used his detection quirk on him.
To his surprise, the readings he obtained from Orochimaru were peculiar compared to others he had read before. Utilizing his High Spec, he determined that this Orochimaru was older than his body depicted, indicating that he may not be in his original body.
Though Kurogiri found it hard to believe, he couldn't ignore the possibility that Orochimaru had transferred his consciousness into a new body. With this information at hand, Kurogiri realized that Orochimaru's capabilities could be even greater than he had initially anticipated.
As Orochimaru and his group entered the village, they were met with the curious gaze of all the villagers who stood at attention, observing their arrival. Orochimaru was stunned by the sight, as he realized that the village was indeed under the influence of Kurogiri.
Sitting on his earthen throne at the center of the village, Kurogiri could see Orochimaru approaching with his group. Orochimaru couldn't believe what he saw, as the creature in front of him was nothing like the description he had heard before. Kurogiri was a muscular, seven-foot-tall, black-skinned humanoid with piercing red eyes that radiated immense power.
Despite feeling a bit intimidated, Orochimaru couldn't help but feel excited when he sensed the vast amount of chakra emanating from Kurogiri. Kurogiri noticed Orochimaru release a long tongue and lick his lips, finding it quite odd but didn't comment on it since there were more important matters to attend to.
Straight to the point, Kurogiri directly asked Orochimaru if the body he was in was his original one or not, using persuasive manipulation. Taken aback by the question, Orochimaru felt the urge to reveal the truth and blurted it out. He was horrified to discover that Kurogiri could use genjutsu with just his voice.
However, seeing potential in Orochimaru, Kurogiri proposed that he could create a body similar to his own, offering to give Orochimaru a new, powerful form that could rival his own abilities. Intrigued, Orochimaru asked for clarification, and Kurogiri explained his plan to alter a body and give it abilities accordingly.
Orochimaru was astounded by this plan and couldn't believe his luck at finding such a valuable ally. Kurogiri's offer seemed too good to refuse, and Orochimaru eagerly accepted, ready to work for Kurogiri and join his forces excited that he was achieving his goal of getting a new more powerful body.
Kurogiri then asked Orochimaru if he had a candidate in mind for the new body. Kurogiri explained that the stronger the original body, the stronger the new body could potentially be. Orochimaru had already made his choice and presented his strongest and most loyal ninja to Kurogiri.
With the chosen ninja kneeling in front of them, Kurogiri placed his hands on their head and channeled chakra-fueled cells into their body. Focused on his task, Kurogiri created an array of quirks for the ninja's new body. These included the life force quirk, mobility increase quirk, super regeneration quirk, and a self-destruction quirk as a precautionary measure.
After the creation of the Nomu, Orochimaru was amazed by its strength and similarity to Kurogiri's own body. Kurogiri explained that the Nomu's original consciousness had been almost entirely overwritten, leaving behind only primal instincts. Orochimaru understood that he would have to fight these instincts to fully control the Nomu, but the immense power it radiated just made him want it even more.
To show Kurogiri his true form, Orochimaru transformed into a giant white snake composed of smaller white snakes. Kurogiri realized that this was what he had sensed before, explaining why Orochimaru's body didn't seem entirely his own.
While Orochimaru focused on taking control of the Nomu's body, Kurogiri used persuasive manipulation on the giant snake's mind, instilling loyalty and obedience in it. Kurogiri knew that when someone is distracted, it's easier to implant thoughts and ideas that will take hold. With this in mind, he ensured that Orochimaru would serve loyally and obediently in his empire.
Orochimaru, impressed by Kurogiri's ability, under the effects of persuasive manipulation, knew that he had made the right decision in joining his forces. The prospect of immortality, paired with Kurogiri's power and abilities, was too alluring to resist.
Kurogiri was pleased with the result of the process and watched as Orochimaru adjusted to his new Nomu body. Orochimaru was amazed by the new body, discovering that it contained traces of natural energy and could subconsciously absorb it to maintain its functions.
Feeling his newfound vitality, Orochimaru even cut himself to see the wound close almost immediately. He expressed his gratitude to Kurogiri and offered access to all of his resources.
After Orochimaru had joined their cause, a day had passed, and a new challenger had appeared at the border of the Land of Grass. Roshi, having finally made it from the Land of Earth, was ready to take on this creature.
As Roshi, the four-tail Jinchuriki, approached the Grass Village, he was surprised to see the fortified walls surrounding it. While he was conversing with the Grass Ninja about his mission to capture the creature that had taken over the village, the four tails sensed a foreign chakra shared between them all. However, since he wasn't close to Roshi for stealing chakra, he did not inform him of the chakra.
Kurogiri had acquired Roshi's image and learned from Orochimaru that he was the four-tail Jinchuriki. Knowing about the nine living chakra beasts since Orochimaru told him, Kurogiri was intrigued and determined to absorb them. But, he also knew that the beasts were older than people and stronger than him, so he needed more time to prepare before he could go after them.
Thinking on his next move, Kurogiri controlled the Grass Ninja to inform Roshi that the creature was driven off, and new defenses were now in place. Roshi, not caring about the mission since it was issued by the third Tsuchikage, decided to head back, taking a longer route to enjoy himself.
Kurogiri knew that this world held more secrets than he realized and felt the need to accumulate more chakra and absorb more to evolve. He informed Orochimaru of the encounter with Roshi and recalled all the patrolling ninja to start building stronger forces. Mass Nomu production was to begin, and a team from the Hidden Cloud had just passed through the Land of Hot Water, heading towards the Land of Fire.
Meanwhile, spies who had ventured into the Land of Grass and retreated at the sight of the Grass Ninja were spreading information about the strange situation in the village. Kurogiri knew he needed to stay vigilant and prepare for whatever challenges lay ahead to achieve his ultimate goal - building his empire as soon to be Demon King.
