Caleb Mamet felt like he was struck by lightning, with a hint of confusion in his eyes.
Xaviera Evans no longer looked at him but mockingly turned to Jacob Powell, "Mr. Powell, do you admit to imprisoning me?"
Jacob looked up, nodding sadly.
"Good." Xaviera slightly hooked the corner of her lips, walked to his side, and whispered, "You're smart. You know that imprisonment and intentional murder are different. By admitting to imprisoning me, you don't have to take responsibility for murder."
Jacob's face turned pale in an instant, his lips trembling, "Xaviera, I already admitted it. What more do you want?"
Xaviera sneered, "Mr. Powell, I'll give you two choices. Considering our sibling relationship, I don't want to let you off easily, but I can't forgive you, the murderer, easily either. So, I'll have you admit to imprisoning me. You'll voluntarily turn yourself in and seek leniency. You'll be out in a few years after serving time in jail."
