I am having a bit of trouble with this series. I would like to inform you about my concerns so that you can better help me, no pressure.
Firstly, The involvement of Nazarick.
Every time I try to include them in the story one of two thing happen. 1) they destroy the home village. 2) the home village becomes a slave/helper of Nazarick.
In the 2nd case the story becomes uneventful and very slow paced. And the 1st is well, not an option.
I could write the 2nd case if you want me too. But if not then I need ideas.
My second problem, a story without Nazarick.
Well in this case the home village is overpowered. The only challenge is the Platinum Dragon Lord, everything else can be defeated provided enough troops are trained.
If we limit the home village's power by making elixir and dark elixir rare then they stray too far from the COC style gameplay.
Edited: Another question; How should they gather elixir?
I have a few ideas like using processing living thing for elixir and undead for dark elixir. What are your thoughts on this?
