She crashed on the floor with her butt. All the actions and voices from the other employees stopped as they stared at her.
"You okay?" Another female chef who was standing at the end of the table asked.
"Yes, I'm sorry." She accepted the other person's outstretched hand. As she got up and dusted her butt, she glared at Kevin.
Kevin ignored her and leisurely ate. He doesn't know if Lawrence was here. But he should find him. Then investigate in the process.
Kevin made up his mind. He looked at the man this time, knowing that the woman resented him for scaring her earlier.
The man ignored him thrice. Before he finally moved and offered him water.

With a full belly, Kevin left the cafeteria. He wondered outside. He met some employees, who distanced themselves from him.
They are familiar faces.
As Kevin roam, he found the familiar staircase for emergency exit. Instead of taking the elevator, he knew it was more efficient to take the stairs instead.
