Guo Huaimu emerged, wearing the same clothes as the Government Officials, swinging an empty sleeve.
General Han was utterly dumbfounded by this sight.
"Your, your left hand?" General Han was astounded.
Mentioning his missing arm ignited Guo Huaimu's anger instantly.
"Hmph, isn't this thanks to you two Generals? You defied the Eighth Prince's orders and failed to bring back twenty thousand soldiers."
"In a fit of anger, the Eighth Prince chopped off my left hand. My amputation was entirely because of you."
Guo Huaimu's amputation did not come as a surprise to General Han.
What surprised him, however, was that the Eighth Prince still allowed Guo Huaimu to roam free. Could the theft of Official Salt be related to the Eighth Prince as well?
