Sarell stayed and watched the sky until Reqiel and Rolfe were long gone, lost in thought and staring at the the sky long after they had gone out of his line of sight.
Velia watched him the entire time, an inscrutable expression on his handsome face. "Is he staying?" He broke the silence, his voice quiet.
Sarell pulled his gaze away from the sky, wilting despite the brilliance of the morning sun. "He is not." He answered shortly without bothering to fill Velia in, knowing that he didn't care much about Reqiel. He also had something incredibly important to do.
"I need to go into the city," He tagged on, turning around to head into the house.
"I'll come with you," Velia was quick to say, his tone leaving no room for disputes.
Sarell grimaced, "It's better if you don't," He spoke quietly, going up the stairs. "I'm going to pay a visit to Reqiel's half brother." He truthfully revealed his cards, "I would rather not offend him."
