Mrs. Wang held Qin Liuxi's hand as they entered the house. Seeing Aunt Wan coming in to serve tea and water, she said, "You don't need to busy yourself, sit down and listen too."
Aunt Wan obediently agreed and sat down.
Mrs. Wang first said to Qin Liuxi, "Your hand is indeed a bit cold. It's getting chilly early this year. Let Qi Huang prepare some thicker clothes for you. You're a young girl; don't catch a cold. Although you're a doctor, it's best to avoid suffering. Medicine isn't anything good and tastes bitter, right?"
"You're right," Qin Liuxi replied obediently.
Mrs. Wang was very pleased, sipping her tea, but suddenly hissed, blood appearing at the corner of her mouth. Just as she was about to touch it, Qin Liuxi stopped her hand.
"Don't touch it; it's blistered by the heat," Qin Liuxi said, taking her pulse shortly thereafter, adding, "The autumn dryness is quite severe, and your stomach fire is high. Haven't you been sleeping well the past two nights?"
