Han Chengchi didn't speak and followed Mrs. Han into the house.
He took off his shoes and lay down on the sofa in the living room. Mrs. Han skipped her morning exercise and went to the kitchen instead. Before long, she came out with a cup of milk and a fried egg, placed them on the coffee table, and said to Han Chengchi, "Have some breakfast, then go sleep in your room."
Han Chengchi nodded, sat up, and said nothing, silently eating the fried egg with particular focus, chewing each bite carefully. After finishing, he picked up the milk and drank it all in one go.
"Are you full?" Mrs. Han asked.
Han Chengchi replied with an "Mmm," then lay back on the sofa.
