" Flame Chariot!" Meredith said as she smashed the base of her staff on the ground. A large rune spread from the impact point of the staff, covering her feet and the winds generated by the ignition of the spell sent her robes flying. Fire ignited from the rune and it roared to life, becoming a towering inferno that shot at the dragon in the sky.
The tornado of fire hit the dragon head on, creating an explosion that sent embers flying across the town and when the smoke died down, the dragon had taken minimal to no damage at all, the fire only served to increase the ire it already had, the roar that followed being a testament to that.
Nick, Sylverster and Meredith had to shield themselves to stop the winds from fling them back, the civilian NPCs weren't so lucky. The roar and its raw power uprooted the front row of the houses, sending them into the NPCs in the back. Shrapnels of steel and wood would lodge themselves into civilians inflicting mass-casuality from the roar only.
