Chapter 2 - Kurikara and Primordial Sin System

After 1 week of waiting and a life without much change, Aaron finally had the right to take 2 new objects.

First, he took one of the most well-known swords among anime fans, the one in which the powers of the son of Satan reside, the Komaken, also known as the Kurikara.

It came from Blue Exorcist, and absolutely all of Rin Okumura's powers were sealed inside.

He then typed Blue Exorcist into Google and, after a few seconds, started the first episode. He quickly found the scene where the Komaken was present.

Aaron saw the red highlighted dot again, clicked on it, and his favorite notification appeared [Do you want to retrieve the object? Yes / No].

Aaron hurriedly pressed Yes, and the sword appeared in front of him. He didn't unsheathe it right away because he was afraid the blue flames would attract attention.

During that week, Aaron thought a lot about the objects he would select.

He wanted to take a cheat system from a novel he had read a few weeks ago. The problem? No image was available, so he couldn't take the object, and even if an image were available, the systems are linked to the soul of their user and had no physical form.

At first, he was sad. Even though he had a powerful Nano, Aaron was greedy and wanted a system. After all, the system is one of the biggest cheats in the omniverse.

He then made the decision to create his own fiction inspired by the "Primordial Sin System."

After a week of hard work and with Nano's help in drawing, he had published the first 5 chapters of his webtoon. With that, he was sure the system would consider it "original." He made sure that the system was an inheritance left by a certain demon god. As for the object, it was a reddish apple reminiscent of Eve's and Adam's.

At first, he wasn't sure if it would work, but then he saw the red dot and the notification [Do you want to retrieve the object? Yes / No]. He directly retrieved the apple and took a bite.

A familiar but also completely different sound resonated in his mind [PSS wants to bond with you, will you accept?].

After accepting, Aaron saw a notification from his first system [Error... Error, the host exploited a bug. From now on, the host can only retrieve one object every 6 months. See you in 6 months, host].

Aaron was a bit sad, but he knew how powerful the system was, and above all, he knew that one day this punishment would be lifted, not by the system but by himself.

Aaron also made a decision: to merge Nano (I renamed her Nano because calling her Ezra annoyed me; I had renamed her to give her a "soul" later, but she will remain a system in the end) with his new system, the PSS.

"Nano, merge yourself with the PSS, please."

[Impossible, host. I am not part of your soul. If you really want to merge it with me, I will have to enter your soul.]

"Nano, enter my soul and merge yourself with the PSS."

[Very well, host.]

Aaron then felt his eyes clouding over and fell into a faint.
