The remaining days that were at hand the students drilled school studies into their heads. Everyday students could be seen dived in to books or they were at the training grounds. After school and during free periods Ash, Lynx and Quil joined together as a group and studied; sometimes they were joined by Zen.
Two days before the exam the Cores needed were extracted from Core monsters and brought back. The day of the exam the students were dressed in their suit. They all gathered at the auditorium as they were then placed into groups. There were three groups and the first group was responsible for receiving and extracting the Cores. After they extracted the Cores from the vault they would place in the newer ones and then reset it.
The second groups job was to watch over the first group during the operation protecting if there was to be a monster or terrorist attack. The second group was then split into sub groups as some watched the sky and the others watched below.
