Kotori's first day of school was going very smoothly, she was able to adjust quickly and thought she wouldn't face any trouble.

That was until she faced the pool.
She had trained herself so much for when she finally acquired a body of flesh and blood.
From walking, running, cooking, bathing and even painting everything she can do in her new body she trained for each taking a lot of effort.
But there was one thing she hadn't trained herself for yet, and that was swimming.
Kaneki: Onee-chan what's wrong?
As the P.E class in the pool was about to start Kaneki swam to the side of the pool where Kotori is after noticing her visibly shaking.
Kotori: ...
Sachi: Wait is it possible you don't know how to swim?
He was followed by Sachi who immediately started to ask questions.
Kaneki: Are you afraid of swimming?
Kotori: Yes I am... I forgot to train to swim, so I actually don't know how to. I'm scared that I would just sink.
Kaneki & Sachi: ...
Both childhood friends stared at each other before a thought came up in both of their heads.
Kaneki: We could teach you how to swim.
Kotori: Eh?! Really?!
Sachi: Yup we'll try our best to help you out Ai-chan.
Kotori: Yay! Thank you!
Kaneki: First of all though let's go ask Sumino-Sensei.
Kotori & Sachi: Okay!
After getting permission from their teacher, Kaneki, Sachi and Kotori went to the shallow side of the pool so they could begin teaching Kotori how to swim.
Kaneki: First of all let's start with floating.
Kotori: Floating?
Kaneki: Yup. Oh yeah Onee-chan please keep in mind I'm only going to teach you the stuff that I've learnt myself so what I may teach you might not be completely accurate but probably effective.
Sachi: In kind of worried of what you'll teach her Kaneki.
Kaneki: I'll do my best.
Sachi: I know more styles of swimming and I can teach you once you figured out the basics from Kaneki.
Kaneki: Specifically Kaneki Basics cuz I didn't learn the normal basics.
Sachi: How did you even learn how to swim?
Kaneki: By immediately throwing myself in the middle of the ocean.
Sachi: ... If I would guess this has something to do with Atlantis right?
Kaneki: Yup. I'll tell you guys my story regarding my past with Atlantis soon.
Sachi: Okay.
Kotori: Hehe~
Sachi: Hmm? What's so funny Ai-chan?
Kotori: Nothing just watching you two talk made me happy, you two just look so cute.
Sachi: Blush~
Kaneki: Should we get started already? We don't have all day.
Kotori: Let's gooo!
Sachi: Let's go...
And so they began teaching Kotori.
Kaneki: Alright so first of all you need to know how to float, since you don't want to sink.
Kotori: So how do I float?
Kaneki: carefully take deep breaths, relax and lean back till your ears are under the water and from what I remember raise your hips.
Kotori: Okay. Haa~
Following Kaneki's instructions Kotori learned down, slightly raised her hips before relaxing herself and started taking deep breaths.
Kaneki: Good you're floating! Now stay like that for a few minutes.
Kotori: Okay!
7 Minutes later~
Kotori: This is quite relaxing actually.
Kotori continued to float for a few minutes not moving an inch.
Sachi: This is good right?
Kaneki: Yup. Onee-chan! You can move now.
Kotori: Okay!
Kaneki & Sachi: Wait I feel we forgot some-

Kotori: Lekfbskauehsb!
Kaneki: Oh Crap!
While Kotori floated she was unknowingly brought to the deeper side of the pool thanks to all of the waves made by their classmates and the wind.
Splash!
Kotori: Haa~! Haa~! That was so scary!
Kaneki immediately went in and took his sister back to the shallow side of the pool and luckily she wasn't too hurt.
Kaneki: Sorry Onee-chan I didn't noticed you got so far from us.
Sachi: You were definitely exhausted from that Ai-chan so it's best that you take a short break for now.
Kotori: Okay I'll take a break, and we'll get back to training me.

Shake~!
After getting out of the pool Kotori shook hard removing all the water from her body before sitting down by the fence to relax.
Kotori: Haa~ this feels good.
And so she started her break to catch her breath.
Kaneki: Should I tie a rope onto her just in case she ends up in deeper water again?
Sachi: That would be a good idea Kaneki. Haha~ to think the Great Kotori Ai is unable to swim.
Kaneki: Yeah I honestly thought she would know how to swim after attaining that body of hers, but I guess she hasn't really been thought by the Sensei's on how to swim yet.
Sachi: This is quite fun though.
Kaneki: Yeah and I'm actually feeling a bit proud right now.
Sachi: Yeah same here.
While the two childhood friends happily talked while waiting for Kotori.

Natsuki: No fair! Sachi is spending time with Kaneki.
Natsuki was jealous that Kaneki and Sachi were hanging out together while she and the rest were still participating in P.E class.
Chikao: Now now Natsuki, there's nothing we can do right now. All we can do is wait until free time arrives for us to join them.
Natsuki: Sigh~ I know but...

Natsuki: Grrr~
Shino: Are you jealous that Kaneki might look at Sachi's chest?
Natsuki: N-No!
Miku: You were obviously looking at them, you don't really need to worry though.
Yuuka: Yeah besides Kaneki is an innocent boy so he doesn't really understand nor care about those type of stuff.
Natsuki: Yeah you guys are right, but man those two look so cute together.
Chikao: I won't lie they really do.
Shino: But you don't have to worry much since we all agreed to share him.
Natsuki: That's the problem! It's not sharing if one of us is Monopolizing the situation!
Natsuki was very very upset that she wasn't spending time with Kaneki, this side was very surprising to the rest of the Higanbana girls.
Shino: Hehe~ who knew you would be such a jealous girl?
Yuuka: Yeah I'm quite surprised you didn't get jealous at us when we spent time with Kaneki alone.
Natsuki: I actually did feel jealous, I mean why wouldn't I?
Miki: Oh Natsuki.
Natsuki: I know! Why don't we have a sleepover tonight?
Chikao: Again?
Shino: We already had a sleepover a few days ago though?
Natsuki: No I'm thinking we change it up a bit, I mean we always had sleepovers in the Higanbana household right? Why don't we have a sleepover somewhere else?
Chikao: That actually sounds like a good idea Natsuki.
Shino's, Yuuka's & Miku's thoughts*
(Wait that would actually give us a good opportunity)
Shino: I like it.
Miku: Same here, let's do it after school.
Yuuka: But who's home should we hold our sleepover in?
Chikao: Shino's home.
Miku: Agreed.
Shino: What?!
Natsuki: Actually I'm quite curious where your home is.
Yuuka: then it's decided, we'll be having a sleepover in Shino's home.
Shino's thoughts*
(Oh no this is bad! I have to hide the pictures I have with Kaneki!)
Knowing that she had several pictures of herself with Kaneki in them, Shino knew she had to hide them so Natsuki wouldn't discover their secret.
But that's for when their sleepover actually begins.
Kotori: Alright! I'm fully charged!
Kaneki: Alright then get back in here, I'll tie a rope on you just in case you start to drown again.
Kotori: Okay!

After catching her breath Kotori jumped back into the shallow side of the pool.
Kaneki: Alright good. Since you know how to float, you can try this out.
Flash!
With a flash of light a small swimming board was created in Kaneki's hands.
Kaneki: use this swimming board, all you need to is hold onto it and paddle using your feet.
Kotori: ???
Seeing that his sister didn't seem to understand what Kaneki meant, he decided to show how to use it.
Grip!
Kaneki: First hold onto this part of the board and then start kicking.
Kicking!
He started to kick the water and move across it.
Kotori: Aww cute.
Kaneki: ... Did you just want to see me use this?
Kotori: Yup sorry~
Kaneki: Of course you do, well then here. Since you know how to use it do a couple of laps around the pool.
Kotori: Got it!
Splash!
Taking the swimming board Kotori started to take laps around the pool.
Sachi: Kaneki you really don't know what you're doing huh?
Kaneki: Yup I'm just teaching Onee-chan the "basic" stuff I know about, after she's done with this you can teach her the swimming styles you know.
Sachi: Yup she needs to know how to take breaths while using certain styles and even hold her breath.
Kaneki: Holding her breath might be very easy though.
Sachi: Fair. So~ since Ai-chan will be doing some laps what do you want to do? Since we're not participating in the actual class?
Kaneki: Wanna do a challenge?
Sachi: Yes! So what should the challenge be?
Kaneki: Okay then let's do a couple of laps ourselves, whoever makes 3 laps first wins.
Sachi: Got it, also no using powers.
Kaneki: I know, I know.
Sachi: Good let's get started then.
Splash!
Kaneki: Got it.

Both got out of the pool and readied themselves for their competition.
Kaneki: Ready?
Sachi: Go!

Swoosh~!
And so they quickly swam underwater making laps around the pool.
Splash!
Kotori: Woah! Be careful you two!
Shino: Oh looks like those two are having a swimming competition.
Natsuki: At least they're steering clear of everyone else.
Chikao: Go Kaneki!
A Few minutes later~
Sachi: Haa~! Haa~! That was so much fun!
Kaneki: That's was so fun!
After a few minutes of them swimming around the pool, Kaneki and Sachi eventually returned to the shallow side of the pool to rest.
Kaneki: I'm surprised you were able to catch up to my speed underwater Sachi, normally even without using my abilities i would be fast underwater.
Sachi: I was trained by Dagon!
Kaneki: She taught you how to swim fast? That's a surprise.
Sumino-sensei: Everyone listen up! You all have free time for 20 minutes. After that go clean yourselves and return to school uniform.
Everyone: Okay~!
With their class now having free time everyone began to fool around in the pool.

???: Eek!
???: Oi stop that!
Because of how chaotic it instantly got once they got free time.
Kotori: Hey Kaneki-chan, Sachi-chan can we do this again another time?
Kotori decided that what they have done is enough for the time being.
Kotori: I don't want to end up drowning again.
Sachi: Well it's fine.
Kaneki: Yeah it is way to chaotic right for you to learn.
And so their swimming lessons for Kotori had ended, but after the lessons had ended.
Natsuki: Hey Kaneki!
The rest of the Higanbana girls came to them.
Chikao: We're going to have a sleepover tonight at Shino's home.
Sachi: Eh? Really?
Shino: Yeah since we always had sleepovers in Kaneki's home, a change of scenery sounds good. And they voted to hold the sleepover in my home.
Kaneki: Sounds nice actually.
Sachi: Yeah I'm in.
Shino: Okay then, let's all meet outside of Kaneki's home later after we go home.
Natsuki: I can't wait to see Shino's home!
Shino: So Kotori-san you wanna-
Kotori: No thanks, I have something to do after school.
Shino: Ahh okay.
With Kaneki and Sachi now invited how will the sleepover in Shino's home go?
(Man I'm so nervous! But this is a good opportunity)
Knowing that it was a good opportunity for her to ready herself when she inevitably apologizes to Kaneki, she prepared herself for what's to come.
