"What do you mean there's missing people?"
It certainly wasn't a good sign if that was the first thing that was reported to us the moment that we arrived at this village. But since it wasn't as if this was something that could be ignored since our goal was those people in the first place.
So in the end, we had no choice but to look into this matter as well.
Though when the report came back, I couldn't help being surprised by what I saw.
"There are monsters? Are you certain of this?"
The ones that had gone out to scout out the situation only responded with firm nods.
It wasn't as if I was doubting the reports that they brought back, it was just that this made things much more complicated. After all, monsters were still a problem for most normal people to deal with.
In our case, it wasn't a problem that we could solve on our own.
We were just officials and not soldiers, so it wasn't as if we were strong enough to take down the monsters on our own.
