After all, there was a reason why they were called god's messengers in the first place.
Their attachment, or rather their connection with gods was the reason why they were able to use divine energy in the first place.
So if this qilin was saying that it was my messenger, then it was equal to saying that I was a god.
This was something that I was going to deny with all my might.
After all, it would mean something else if I were to become a god.
The qilin didn't respond right away as it tilted its head in confusion at this response, but then it looked like it was thinking about the answer that I gave. After thinking like this for a bit, it actually gave a slow nod.
Seeing this slow nod confused me even more, but it was a lie to say that there wasn't a part of me that wasn't relieved.
Only what the qilin said next wasn't as relieving.
