The orcs that had appeared were working together in a way that was surprising for orcs.
They actually used each other to lift themselves off the ground.
Some of the orcs remained there in place and used their hands to launch the other orcs up, which was how they were able to reach me and the egg who were standing on Joan's head.
After all, Joan wasn't short at all.
By the time that I reacted to this, it was as if they were about to grab the egg.
Even if I wanted to stop them, it wasn't as if there was anything that I could do to actually stop them from reaching the egg.
So I could only watch as the orcs flew right at the egg.
However, none of the orcs were able to reach the egg in the end as it suddenly released the same energy as before.
Though it didn't seem like the orcs were going to lay their hands on the egg, I wasn't happy seeing the way that the egg had stopped the orcs.
After all, this was dangerous in its own way.
