Luo Zhelan drove the two women back to Capital University, and true to her promise, Jiang Yue had brought some snacks, sponsored by the man beside her, of course.
The drive had been unusually quiet.
Yan Meixiu sat in the back seat with the bag of snacks resting on her lap, but she barely looked at it. The food had actually been bought by Young Master Luo for her, Jiang Xiu, and Guan Ying, yet despite the pleasant smell coming from the bag, she had no appetite at all.
Her mind was still occupied by everything that had happened.
As soon as the car pulled into the university grounds and came to a stop, Jiang Yue's phone suddenly rang.
She glanced at the screen before looking up at Yan Meixiu through the rearview mirror.
"You go ahead," she said. "I'll go back to the dorm later."
Yan Meixiu nodded. She gathered the snacks into her arms and quietly stepped out of the car.
