Gohan and his dad reached the city, witnessing the most horrific sight yet: Broly was alive and well, but that guy should have been deal with already! Cumber though, he was looking as if he was enjoying himself against him, even outpacing Broly at times, though that didn't really mean much to anyone when a Saiyan as mad and as Gohan heard, a mutated and therefore, perceived as the legendary 'Super Saiyan'.
"We'd better get rid of Broly, he and the idiot Cumber are tearing the city apart, dad."
"Right, I'll get his attention. I remember that he has an intense hatred for me. I was sure that Vegeta would have beat us here but, he isn't even in the area… Still not sure what that is all about with regard to Broly but, Alright then! Haaaaaaaaaaa" Goku then powered up, his 'Super Saiyan Blue' inflamed in an explosive wave of energy, he then blasted for the battle between Broly and Cumber, shouted loudly as Gohan hurried to catch up.
"Hey Broly, how'd you get back alive then? Did you learn your lesson the last time we fought, I recall you learned all right…" Goku mocked, 'Super Saiyan Primal' always bringing out his dads battle lust and his fortunately for the city, Broly perked up, in a enraged kind of way to his dads tone of voice and quickly turned to lock eyes with him.
'Oh well, at least he's got his attention now. We can get him out of West City now. Now who should I fight… Help father with Broly, or should I go after one of the two Shadow dragons nearby…' Gohan in the end decided to follow after his dad and Cumber, who looked incensed that his opponent had changed targets.
(Tien-POV)
Sixteen continued to smash around Naturon Shenron, the shadow dragon continued to try and run and was already looking more like a prune then a dragon, heavily breathing and bleeding, his healing was on the brink of exhaustion, Sixteen, Seventeen and Tien still fresh while Qrow was more exhausted then Tien seen Chiaotzu was, being using his telekinesis to hinder the shadow dragon, making him easily dispatched by the rest of them. Naturon was a mediocre fighter and now, as Sixteen held a boot down on his stomach while Seventeen landed punch after punch, a small smirk on his face as each blow to the face continued to elicit a howl, the dragon also being kicked into by Qrow as he shot the shadow dragons legs with his weapon, now in a gun form and at close range… Naturon seemed to have enough now, Tien hovered above while preparing a highly infused energy blast between his fingers, held in his 'Tri-Beam' stance, though it was his bluff to have this dragon know they were serious and would not hold back, even with Raven inside the beast.
"W-Wait- UGH! Hold o-on n-now, y-you'll kill-" Seventeen continued to launch his volley of punches, swiftly striking accurately, the android interrupted him with a cockiness to him that Tien hadn't really seen much since their fight when they were enemies in the past.
"-You've got only once chance friend. Just one, do it and the pain will stop. You hear. Good… Now, release Raven Branwen from your possession and-"
"-How do I know y-you'll-" for his questioning, Seventeen then launched another blow to his face, now that he was playing ball… they need only wait until Naturon Shenron-
"-OK alright! I s-shall, here! Ughhghh…" Naturon Shenron's stomach bulged, the silhouette of Raven now prominent, she then came out slowly from the disgusting dragons guts, slowly as if eh, giving birth or something… Tien looked grossed out, noticing Naturon Shenron struggling to keep it together when Raven fully stepped out of him now, he shrunk in size and got that much weaker, losing all of Raven's energy, Raven now hovering up.
"Raven, you're lucky you don't smell like guts or something, or I would have moved." Tien began, still concentrating on his 'Tri-Beam', still awaiting a time to launch it, Raven sneering towards him briefly before turning her face downwards, sneering at Naturon who also noticed her gaze.
"Eh, I got cocky and let that creature get the drop on me. It won't happen again. Vegeta better not find out-"
"-Find out what. That my fierce wife has been inside another. Too late, I wasn't impressed." Vegeta arrived, for Tien hadn't even sensed the guy, he looked to be not transformed though which might explain-
-Raven's eyes widened a smidgen, though she adopted that superior stoic gaze that somewhat reminded Tien of Yang sometimes whenever she got annoyed with Tien, she slowly turned as Tien called out.
"Hey! Seventeen, Sixteen, Qrow! Scatter!! 'Tri-Beam' haaaaaaaaaaa!!!" he fired his blast, as the three then flickered out of the way, Tien noted Chiaotzu didn't even needed to be told, with much more ease, held at bay Naturon Shenron; now the size of a runt and Tien's blast impacted-
-Vegeta kicked the blasted off into the distance, the bastard was glowing, 'Super Saiyan' or 'Super Saiyan Two' by the energy discharge that erupted around him, his kick was done with minimal effort and then he landed on top of Naturon Shenron.
"You there runt, you get a kick out of eating people huh…" Vegeta didn't finish speaking, for he just rose a hand and blasted the shadow dragon point blank, Tien watched then seeing as his own attack had detonated far off in the distance now… for it was heavily supplied with Tien's own energy, so Tien was surprised at how strong Vegeta had gotten training with a God, easily able to kick it aside.
The blinding blue light begun to dissipate then, the dragon ball Tien spotted being blasted upwards, now clear of it's corruption and underneath where Vegeta where he hovered, a massive pit was dug from the explosion, no sign of Naturon Shenron anywhere… well, except for the dragon ball that Tien now caught with his left hand.
"Vegeta, you idiot. I was about to-"
"-Can it… son in-law, you damnable oaf, It was my right to finish off that… creature- is that a dragon ball…" Vegeta regarded Tien, Raven seemed to be pleased with Vegeta just a bit though she seen Tien's glance and her stoic gaze came back. Tien sighed, about to recite the problem about Earth's dragon balls when a massive detonation happened in the west… then two, then another blast. A massive battle where West City should be.
"Raven! Explain to your… husband on the way. Chiaotzu-"
"-Right Tien! I'll keep up." they nodded to one another, Qrow quipped from down below as he rose upwards.
"Eh, Vegeta. Here, take a drink. You look parched brother-"
"-I don't drink that shit-" Raven snatched the flask from him, then downing it whole, they plus the silent but intently watching and the smirking Seventeen also catching up to them easily.
Scoffing to himself though not in front of his wife, he then took off in the direction of the battles, the energy being generated to the west. Suppose it was the last battle here before Vegeta would organize the search for Kron.
(Goku-POV)
Dodging, then dodging more, Goku kept up his speed for Broly was going to be a menace if he was hit, his physically imposing blows would shatter Goku in one hit. Cumber was the muscle here, for Goku could sense that Cumber's power, in his 'Evil Transformation' that Kron called it, made him stronger then Broly and both of them felt to be much more stronger than even Goku himself. But he did had to join this bout now, for they were content to fight within the city and already, a lot of people had most likely lost their lives… Goku knew that they could be wished back of course, but with what dragon balls? The Black star dragon balls? Were given to Lord Beerus for safe keeping. The Namekian dragon balls? Still inert he would imagine, finding out that the dragon balls of earth had such limits that were hidden even to Kami, then Dende and the Elder Kai knew but didn't warn them of overuse or that they could even become corrupt in the first place.
"H-Hey Cumber, keep on fighting him for now. He'll target me with everything he has got but I'm only your support…" Goku continued to flicker from side to side, as Broly kept up his pursuit, either with his melee blows that continued to be dodged or the occasional Ki volley of Broly raining down Ki-blasts, tiny spheres that pelted the ground below, each devastating then the last. Their destination, Goku intended to lead Broly to the ocean, for there would be few if not any innocent people to be caught in the crossfire, Goku also couldn't stall Broly with such techniques as 'Solar Flare' for Cumber would also be hit and Goku let out a laugh… that guy barely listened to anyone…
'Well, except for Kron though but that is because he has beaten Cumber in battle… C-Come on now Broly, keep up pursuing me…' Goku flashed blue and golden then, flaring with red also filling his Ki aura as his Ki spiked as 'Kaio-Ken' times ten was used in quick bursts, alleviating Goku's slower speed then even then Kron's little brother Broly, who even now was continuing to climb in power at every second.
'So, this is what Bulma's daughter is going to be like when she is older? Not a L-Lunatic or anything, but constantly growing in power at such a rate of speed… Kron better raise her right or she could end up like this guy… It is a surprise that with Kron, that he also reached this sort of power, that he doesn't grow at such a fast rate of speed.' Goku dodged another volley, Broly's Mercilus and sadistic laughter heard, while Goku heard the clash now as Cumber begun launching an assault against Broly, who returned it in a heated clash, shock waves almost putting Goku off of his uh, what was that word… Traj Trak…jecto-
"-W-Wow, they are really going at it." Goku paused, seeing their heated exchange, their energy flaring in one bright aura that now covered both of them, Broly's green golden aura and Cumber's black red aura moving in line with their melee blows.
"Gosh, I knew Broly was strong but Cumber has surprised me with his power. I'd better get back to training if I want to catch up to his level, he would be an-" Goku then dodged stray blasts, that Broly fired in a barrage from one hand, just by holding his right hand forward did each blow fire off at a fast speed, pelting into Cumber's position, some of the stray tiny spheres pelted into the ground below, the beach they were currently over off the coast where West City was in the uh, west.
The small spheres were then suddenly turned into Goku's direction as Broly, his cackles loud and heard by Goku, begun to aim for him and Goku begun to move, dodging the blasts, watching each of the tiny spheres detonate into large impact craters from the giant explosions. Broly, about to leave the obscured position of Cumber, from the constant explosion that hit him point blank, was then grabbed suddenly, black Ki tendrils with hands that Goku could see come through the smoke, grabbed him and some of these begun to hammer into him, exploding on impact.
"Heh, I thought that Cumber would be fine… that attach though, is interesting. I can see him now, coming out of the smoke, almost unscathed…" Goku spotted Cumber's aura, flashed in an inflamed state around him though smaller than normal, it was his aura that was launching the attacks, directed by Cumber as after every blow, another aura-created tendril with a fist continued to stretch out of Cumber's Ki.
Shock waves continuously hammered into Goku's position, waves underneath him, that were beginning to fill in those crater holes from Broly's attacks were being blown by each impact made, pushed out by the shock waves and back out to sea, Goku hovered a bit higher and watched as Cumber's aura now was but a thin see-through blanket only over Cumber's body, Goku could barely see his Ki while as the smoke from each explosion quickly evaporated from the area of Broly, his own Ki flashing wildly and inflamed, he was also screaming in rage and looked to be mostly unscathed. Cumber's Ki inflamed suddenly then, reaching a larger radius then before and eclipsing Broly's which even now, Goku could sense it was still growing.
"Eh, oh now I'm in for it…" Goku chuckled to himself, seeing as Broly's head turned his way, he heard a hoarse 'Kakarot!' shout from him and now, he continued his flight out somewhere deeper, hopefully an island they could use to fight on, spotting such a place five minutes after Goku, using 'Kaio-Ken' times ten to boost his speed while using 'Super Saiyan Blue', to enhance his speed. They came after him, Broly with mindless intent to kill him, while Cumber continued to attack him whenever he could, being the faster of the two… for now, Cumber's energy continued to spike behind them and Goku had to fight to maintain his flightpath or he'd be blown off course by their destructive might.
"Man, this sucks… I'm the one being pursued by Broly and yet, I'm just not strong enough to even fight him in a proper fight… Heh, that won't stop me either way. I'll just have to be more smart about how I fight him. Cumber's got my back… even if he doesn't act like it." Goku, his Ki then engulfed him in a rush, swirling as the energy cracked with overwhelming power, bolts of energy discharging around him and he took the speed that 'Kaio-Ken' times sixty for starters, then raced towards Broly and launched a barrage if swift kicks and punches to the side of his head, testing the waters. Each strike didn't do nothing though, so he doubled 'Kaio-Ken' to one hundred and twenty, double it's current use, which Goku felt immediately upon the multiplier being used, though his strikes were now offering hurt to Broly's face, in which he turned enraged and then ignored Cumber for his counterattack, though Cumber continued his own swift speed-induced hard-hitting melee barrage and was making more accurate hits now that he wasn't defending himself at the same time.
Then Goku sensed that Vegeta, Raven, Tien, Chiaotzu and Qrow were coming towards them and then also spotted them on the horizon, going full speed. Also Seventeen and Sixteen were with them, Goku had to keep focused on Broly again, but then mentally communicated with Vegeta…
'Get over here Vegeta, will need to use the Potara Earrings again… Broly's back and I can't fight him alone.' Goku felt the mental scoff, Vegeta's telepathic reply he almost winced at.
'Bah, will not use that in front of my wife. She'll get ideas… Just do that 'Spirit Bomb' attack, but don't launch the energy collected… Just absorb it instead-'
'-That could work. Well, I'll leave Broly to you guys then, tell the others I'll be needing their energy so only uh, maybe Seventeen, Sixteen and yourself should join and support Cumber-'
'-Cumber can support me! I'll show you up Kakarot.' Vegeta then stopped, Goku caught sight of him and the others were stopped by him, Goku wincing as he almost took a hard-hit to his head which would almost certainly, shatter something.
(Vegeta-POV)
"alright then, is it understood? Sixteen, you, the punk and I shall attack Broly down there… don't ask how that bastard has magically came alive again, no doubt it was Towa-"
"-Yeah, will await Goku and watch for his 'Spirit Bomb' technique, then will 'offer' our energy to him. Fine, some of us are winded from the previous fight but will offer energy all the same." Vegeta heard Qrow mutter under hit breath some annoying quip which Raven, who had replied, then narrowed her gaze upon him.
"...If Goku is in need, I shall help."
"Yeah, what the big guy said. Also, don't call me a punk, you runt Saiyan." Seventeen smirked, amused and Vegeta hadn't the time to glower at him in retribution, already taking off alongside Sixteen, Seventeen catching up. They all went ahead and attacked Broly simultaneously, though to Vegeta's anger, the swelled up monster of a Saiyan hadn't felt his nor Seventeen's melee blows. Sixteen was also swept aside, though unlike the fast moving Seventeen via 'Kaio-Ken' and Vegeta within 'Super Saiyan Blue' now, Sixteen was the weakest of them and took an onslaught of heavy blows, one such blow had even managed to pierce into his side, causing electricity to begin discharging from the embedded fist in his side. Broly prepared to kick him aside, Vegeta then seen as Cumber was able to grab that heavy set madman of a Saiyan's leg by grabbing it and then spun him around, his embedded arm leaving Sixteen.
"Eh, stand aside you fool. You're going to need repairs; robot so don't go getting yourself dismantled now." Sixteen only held a hand at his side, nodding as Seventeen added, turning off 'Kaio-Ken'.
"The runt is right Sixteen, this Saiyan isn't a cake walk and even the king Saiyan here is shaking in his boots-" Vegeta only realized then that he was indeed shaking, though it a mix of fear at the overwhelming strength that continued to climb from within that… mutant freak and also the insult he suffered at still being weaker than this cave-dwelling rogue Saiyan, enraged though it seemed that Cumber was their only buffer, something that he was quickly realizing to his amusement.
"Ha! Sit this one out… your majesty, I'll handle this mad fighter. This has been the greatest day, so far! To think, I would-"
"-Shut it, big mouth. Kakarot, I'll kill you-" Broly then took another blow to the face from Cumber, now also enraged and they resumed trading hard hitting blows, in a constant cycle that continued to create shock waves all around them, Goku now standing on a hill in a safer distance while the sphere in the sky was beginning to grow fast, pulsing into greater sizes in quick intervals.
