Ye Huang frowned and asked, "Can't he be treated at home?"
"No, Ye Li's throat injury is severe. I need the dew from the orchids in the valley to help cleanse him. Your city doesn't have these conditions," said Lu Ji Zi.
Ye Li comforted, "Once my throat heals, I will return."
"Brother, Uncle and Aunt can only come over tomorrow. They miss you too, and so do those few stubborn old folks. They also want to see you."
"I know, so I'll stay a few more days before going back to the mountain." Ye Li patted Ye Huang on the shoulder, "Alright, stop overthinking. These past days, you've probably ignored your pregnant wife because of me, right?"
Ye Huang said nothing.
Bai Xiao is so considerate; she certainly wouldn't mind.
"Now that I'm back, I won't sneak away. But you, being so conflicted, gives me a lot of pressure," Ye Li said.
Lu Ji Zi glanced at his young apprentice, "It's surely because there's been too little work lately, giving time to dwell."
