Afterward, Cheston En was assigned to the FBI's Los Angeles field office. The guy had matured a lot. He even clung to a senior agent's coattails, becoming his partner.
Later, that partner was shot dead by Dean.
And then, it was the recent counterfeit money case involving Middle Eastern terrorist forces.
Cheston En was lucky. During that investigation, his partner was blown up, leaving only a thigh behind, but he managed to survive again.
Lawrence had talked to Dean about this before. Now it seemed the tricky case mentioned in the email was that counterfeit case.
