In the dim morning light, amidst the ruins left by the war, everyone stood on the streets of Paris, the pearl that symbolizes French glory, as if forming a parade. These French people, who were oppressed under the German iron heel in the past years, finally awaited the day of victory.
In the year 1944, the German garrison in Paris, led by Von Schortitz, had surrendered to the Allies. They had finally driven the fascist beast from the free and romantic territory, completing the glorious task unfinished by their great "Europe's First Army" four years ago.
But even this was certainly not enough. During the years of oppression, they surely remembered how that shameless group of French traitors fawned over the Germans, and how those sycophants maintained bloody romance in this field of fame and fortune.
