Ash climbed down into it, but it was not too deep down under the floorboards.
It was still enough to store something underneath like a body, so she began pulling at the rolled up Derrick until he was lowered down into there.
It took quite some effort to lower one half of the body down first, but once it touched the ground below, it was slightly easier to pull the rest down along with it.
Once he was below, she climbed back out and began collecting everything that was connected to her and could lead back to her.
