Chapter 114 - TIME TO SETUP CAMP

Jack:

(Clapping his hands)

"Alright, team! Time to set up camp. Tents over there, table and food here, and someone get the fire going!"

Olivia:

(Looking at her gloves)

"Bro, I can barely move my fingers. How am I supposed to build a tent? I feel like a frozen T-Rex."

Nick:

(Already struggling with tent poles)

"Well, this is definitely not how they made it look in YouTube tutorials…"

Kevin:

(Holding two poles like swords)

"Guys. I think I built a teepee. Or maybe a modern art sculpture?"

Sophia:

(Watching him)

"You built a cry for help, that's what that is."

Alex:

(Laughing while setting pegs)

"Just follow the instructions, man. This isn't rocket science."

Elsa:

(Sitting on the cooler, unbothered)

"I'll supervise. Supervisors don't get cold, right?"

Abhi:

(From across the clearing, sarcastic)

"Yeah, and I'm the CEO of Free Labor Inc. Start helping, boss lady."

Rocky:

(Already halfway done with his tent)

"Pro tip—put your gloves under your armpits for 30 seconds. Instant hand heater."

Daniel:

(Building the fire pit with Jack)

"I'm just praying someone brought marshmallows. If we're doing this wilderness thing, we're doing it right."

Justin:

(Dumping wood into the pit)

"I brought marshmallows. And hot chocolate. Also… no one drink from my flask unless you want your throat on fire."

Krish:

(Carrying a folding table, muttering)

"Why do these folding legs feel like they're personally attacking me?"

Tom:

(Setting up chairs)

"It's like IKEA but outside and colder. NatureKEA."

Sophia:

(Joining the fire crew)

"Hey, Jack—your fire's looking a little sad. Want me to breathe on it? I've got enough rage to light it instantly."

Jack:

(Laughing)

"Let's save your rage for the hike back. We'll use matches for now."

(Soon, tents start popping up like colorful mushrooms in the snow. The fire crackles to life, and warmth slowly spreads. The folding table is set up with thermoses, snacks, and mismatched camping mugs.)

Olivia:

(Warming her hands over the fire)

"This is actually kind of… peaceful."

Nick:

(Passes her a hot drink)

"See? Nature heals—right after it almost kills you."

Elsa:

(With a marshmallow on a stick)

"Who knew burning sugar over an open flame would be the highlight of my day?"

Abhi:

(Sipping from a mug, staring into the flames)

"Still no message from Ishana. Whatever. I've got fire, friends, and semi-melted chocolate. Not bad."

Jack:

(Sitting down, finally relaxing)

"You guys did good. No injuries, no lost souls, and no one tried to fight a bear. I call that a win."

Everyone:

(With mock pride)

"Team Snow Troopers!"

Kevin:

(Holding up a marshmallow)

"To surviving Jack's 5 AM madness!"

All:

(Cheering)

"To surviving!"

(The group settles in around the fire, laughing, sharing stories, and throwing snowballs at anyone who dares close their eyes.)

Scene: 5 AM, Goa – Inside the hotel

Narration (Tia):

After last night's wild party, everyone stumbled back to the hotel, completely drained, and went straight to their rooms. The morning came quickly, and I was up early. We had a flight to catch — and a surprise to deliver.

(Tia walks through the hallway, knocking on doors one by one.)

Tia:

"Ishana, the bride-to-be — wake up! We need to leave the hotel."

"Rashmi, get up!"

"Pooja, wake up!"

"Alice, time to go!"

"Luca, rise and shine!"

"Sonali, on your feet!"

"Maya, let's go!"

(Doors creak open, groggy faces appear one by one. Ishana steps out, rubbing her eyes, wrapped in a blanket.)

Ishana:

"What is this madness? Why are you waking us up this early?"

Tia (grinning):

"Because we've got a surprise for you."

Ishana (suspicious):

"A surprise? At 5 in the morning?"

Tia:

"Talk less, question later. Get ready — we're leaving in one hour!"

One hour later – Hotel lobby

Tia:

"Is everyone ready?"

Rashmi (checking around):

"Seems like it!"

Tia (turning to Ishana):

"Alright, Ishana, time for the blindfold."

Ishana (shocked):

"What?! Why!?"

Tia:

"As I said — surprise! And to keep it a secret, you're coming with us blindfolded."

Ishana (frowning):

"But why do we have all our luggage with us? That makes no sense!"

Tia (winking):

"It will when we get there. Now hurry up, the car's waiting."

(Tia gently ties the blindfold over Ishana's eyes, making sure it's snug but comfortable. The group heads out to the waiting vehicle, dragging their bags behind them.)

Ishana (half-laughing, half-nervous):

"Damn, I can't see anything! If I trip and break a leg, you all owe me!"

Pooja (playfully):

"Shut up and keep walking, drama queen!"

Scene: At the airport

(They arrive and start unloading their bags. The sounds of announcements echo through the terminal.)

Ishana (tilting her head):

"Wait… is that an airport announcement I hear?"

"Why are we at the airport? Are we going back home!?"

Tia (teasing):

"Can you see?"

Ishana (sarcastically):

"No, genius. You blindfolded my eyes, not my ears. I can hear."

Tia:

"Touché. But no, we're not going back."

Ishana:

"Then where are we going?"

Tia:

"You'll find out… in about two hours."

(Everyone boards the flight. Ishana briefly lifts her blindfold for identification at security, then puts it back on. They take their seats, excited whispers filling the cabin.)

Scene: Shimla – Arrival

(After a scenic flight, the group arrives in Shimla. A cool breeze greets them as they step off the plane. The mountains loom in the distance, their peaks kissed by early morning mist.)

Narration (Rashmi):

We landed in Shimla — the air was crisp, the landscape dreamy. The surprise was only just beginning.

(A car waits outside the airport. They hop in and head to a charming hillside hotel. Once there, they drop off their luggage and start packing hiking bags.)

Narration (Tia):

Everyone got their rooms and quickly freshened up. Since Ishana was still blindfolded, I packed her hiking bag for her.

Scene: Hiking trail – Start point

(The group arrives at a stunning hiking spot. The view is breathtaking: pine forests, snow-dusted cliffs, and birds chirping in the fresh mountain air.)

Ishana (shivering slightly):

"Why do I suddenly feel chilly? What's going on?"

Tia (startled):

"Oops! Where's her jacket?"

Rashmi (digging into the bag):

"It's in the car. Let me put it on her."

(Rashmi helps Ishana into the jacket.)

Ishana (getting annoyed):

"Guys! Seriously — can someone please take this blindfold off?"

Tia (smiling):

"Yep. You can't exactly climb mountains with a blindfold on."

(Tia gently removes the blindfold. Ishana blinks a few times, adjusting to the light. Her jaw drops as she takes in the majestic landscape.)

Ishana (in awe):

"…Whoa."

Tia:

"Welcome to your surprise bachelorette trip… in Shimla!"
