"Just another day in this boring world, when will it end?" He thought to himself while crossing the road with his groceries.
He stared at a couple for a few seconds before he walked off, "Why can't I live an exciting life? Getting a girlfriend, going to the bar with friends and all."
He stood in the middle of the road and saw a truck coming, he stood still for a moment and then decided not to end his life there and kept walking home.
He got home and started searching for "How to make friends" He scrolled for a minute and found a site, "Rent a friend? Maybe I should try it, wait no I'm not that desperate, maybe one time wouldn't hurt."
"What am I doing?? I went ahead and bought a whole friend group for the day, do I look good? When will they be here? Does my breath stink?" He thought of walking away since he's been waiting for a while, but he did get there twenty minutes before the appointed time.
"Excuse me are you Hansuke?"
"Uuuh, yes I'm Hansuke, and who are you guys?"
"We are the friend group that you ordered, I am Ryosuke, he is Kazuto, and she is Akane. Nice to meet you."
"Could you please not say out loud that I ordered a friend group?" Hansuke mumbled.
"Sorry please come again. I didn't hear you the first time."
"Ah, sorry I said likewise, nice to meet you. Where should we head first?"
"Well, since you ordered a friend group, I would assume that you have no friends and no friends means that you have never been to karaoke, So let's go the karaoke." They took off to the karaoke expecting Hansuke to follow them.
"Again, could you please not say out loud that I ordered a friend group?" He hastily followed them to the karaoke.
From what Hansuke was seeing, he thought that Ryosuke was the leader of the friend group, and was the one in charge of talking to others and that his friends were just there to tag along, Hansuke walked by a television store where the news was playing. Hansuke faintly heard that the murder rate has been growing and that there has been a murder recently. Hansuke kept following Ryosuke and his friend, trying not to get lost. Ryosuke kept trying to make small talk with Hansuke, asking questions such as "Do you have a favourite music genre?" "Do you have a favourite artist?"
"We are here, I'm going in to get a karaoke room, so if you guys just wait here." Ryosuke went inside leaving Hansuke, Kazuto, and Akane behind.
"Run..., run while you still can," Akane mumbled.
"Sorry come again?" Hansuke asked.
"Sorry, it was nothing."
Ryosuke came back outside and guided us to the Karaoke room he had ordered.
"Man I haven't been to a karaoke place in such a long time, Hansuke you've never been to a karaoke place before right?"
"Yes, that's right."
"Then you can go first"
He didn't know how many hours it has been, it could've been 3 hours later or 4 hours later, but he didn't know.
"Want to have dinner at our house?" Ryosuke said
"Come again?"
"You heard me, have dinner over at our place, I'm not really in the mood to go out and eat."
Hansuke thought about it, he hesitated, because he never ate over at a friend's house, because he never had friends, Hansuke agreed the offer and they went to Ryosuke's house.
They arrived at Ryosuke's house, all the curtains were closed, you couldn't look inside, Hansuke got a pretty bad feeling seeing the closed curtains, they went inside, and as soon as the door closed, Hansuke got stabbed.
"I guess we owe you an explanation, the explanation is that we like killing people, and we earn money doing it."
Hansuke started to lose consciousness, he couldn't care less if he died right now, he at least had a good time before he got stabbed.
"Out of curiosity, how haven't you been caught yet?"
"Because, you are our first one."
"Let me tell you something, you're gonna get caught, because, you guys are the last one seen with me."
"No one's gonna care about you, now die."
Hansuke got stabbed multiple times after his last words, which resulted in his death.
"Oh I feel tired, shouldn't I be dead?" Hansuke thought, he opened his eyes and saw a woman and a man.
"Dear, what should we name him?" The woman said.
"Let's name him Kai. He will be the successor of the demon king." The man replied
