"How is her condition?" Aldric stared down at Aurelia's unconscious body on the infirmary bed. The Fae was half naked with her chest and below her waist covered with lightweight and breathable fabric for comfort. Her stomach was bare, revealing the side where she was stabbed which was covered with a soothing medicinal paste.
The texture of the paste was cool and smooth, gently adhering to the contours of the wound. The ground herb was applied in such a way that it created a protective barrier over the injured area, offering relief and promoting the healing process.
The wound once raw and exposed now exhibited signs of gradual healing. Iron was dangerous to Fae creatures and it had poisoned Aurelia long enough she wouldn't have survived had she been human. No, even most Fae would have succumbed to the injury. Aurelia was a strong Fae and was determined to live.
