Chapter 31 - Clash of Titans 2

The clash between Blackbeard and I felt like the very air itself was being torn apart. His monstrous grin never left his face, his eyes gleaming with madness and ambition. But I couldn't afford to underestimate him. The power he had absorbed, the darkness within him, made him a force like no other. I was all too aware of the stakes—this wasn't just another pirate raid. This was the endgame, the final battle that would decide whether the world would be plunged into chaos or preserved under the rule of justice.

I launched myself at him, my body moving faster than the eye could follow. My fist, infused with the raw power of my techniques, cut through the air like a meteor streaking through the night sky. The moment my punch collided with Blackbeard's defenses, a tremendous shockwave erupted, sending a shock through the very sea beneath us. His fruit, the Yami Yami no Mi, responded instantly, its black vortex pulling in everything around it, including my attack.

"You're strong, Gojo," Blackbeard chuckled, his voice vibrating with unshakable confidence. "But I'm stronger. You should've known that by now. Nothing can escape the darkness!"

He extended his hand toward me, his power warping the space around us. The very air twisted, as if reality itself was bending under the weight of his Devil Fruit. The gravity around me seemed to increase, and I could feel the immense pressure trying to crush me. Yet, I wasn't about to let his darkness swallow me.

With a focused effort, I activated my domain—my own space where the laws of physics were mine to control. The gravitational pressure was nullified, and the air around me became as light as a feather. My eyes burned with intensity as I locked onto Blackbeard.

"Your darkness isn't the only force that can bend reality," I growled, using my own power to push against his. "It's time to end this."

I raised my hand, and in the blink of an eye, a massive shockwave erupted from my palm, crashing into Blackbeard's barrier. The force was enough to tear through his dark vortex, and for a brief moment, I saw the raw shock in his eyes.

But before I could follow up, the ground beneath us trembled. The sea surged with a roar as massive, imposing figures began to emerge from Blackbeard's ship, their powers crashing like waves against mine.

Out of the shadows emerged two of the most dangerous pirates I'd ever encountered—Shiryu of the Rain and the terrifying Devil Fruit user, Avalo Pizarro. They were like the sharpest daggers, each one poised to strike at any moment. Shiryu's blade shimmered with deadly intent, and Pizarro's power to warp and control the land around him gave him a strategic advantage.

"You're not getting away that easily, Gojo," Shiryu sneered, his sword already in motion. With a flick of his wrist, a slash of devastating speed and precision cut through the air toward me.

I dodged effortlessly, but just as I did, Pizarro's power manifested beneath me. The earth cracked open, and massive spikes of rock shot upward like jagged teeth, attempting to impale me from below. My reflexes were quick, but the combined assault from the two of them was relentless.

"Seems like the darkness is starting to catch up with you, Gojo," Blackbeard shouted from behind, his voice dripping with amusement.

I gritted my teeth and activated my powers to their fullest. The battle was no longer just a fight between two powerful men—it had become a full-scale war. The very sea itself was alive with the roars of cannons, the clash of steel, and the agony of the wounded. Every Marine, every pirate, was locked in a struggle for dominance, but the true fight was mine.

I could feel the overwhelming pressure of Blackbeard's attacks. But this time, I wasn't just reacting. I was ready to end this. With a motion, I tore open a hole in the air, creating a massive gravitational shockwave that sent both Shiryu and Pizarro flying into the air. As they crashed back down, I closed the gap between Blackbeard and myself.

"This ends here, Blackbeard," I said, voice cold as steel. "Your reign of terror is over."

He laughed, the sound reverberating across the battlefield. "You really think you can stop me? You can't escape the darkness! Nothing can stop me now, Gojo."

I didn't respond with words—I responded with power. My hand shot forward, creating a barrier of pure, impenetrable energy. A blinding light erupted from my palm, crashing into the very heart of Blackbeard's darkness. The entire world seemed to hold its breath as the two forces collided, a battle of ultimate powers.

The sea roiled, the wind howled, and the world itself seemed to tremble as the light from my attack surged through the void of Blackbeard's power. For a moment, everything was still, and then—BOOM!

The explosion sent shockwaves across the sea, splitting the water and tearing apart the ships around us. The light burned away the darkness, and for the first time, I saw Blackbeard's face devoid of its usual confidence. His body trembled as he tried to summon his powers to resist, but it was no use.

"You... You were always stronger than I thought," Blackbeard muttered, his voice barely audible above the storm. His dark powers faltered, and his grip on the battlefield loosened.

I stepped forward, my eyes burning with intensity. "You may have been strong once, Blackbeard, but your time is over. Your terror ends here."

With a final surge of power, I forced Blackbeard to his knees. The battle had reached its zenith, and now, with my hands still glowing with raw power, I ended it. With one final move, I unleashed a blast of energy that obliterated his remaining defense, sending the pirate king crashing into the sea below.

The battlefield fell silent.
