Keiko opens her eyes with a slow blink, giving them time to adjust to the bright lights of the cavern. She looks around and finds a crowd of large eyes looking back at her, expressions filled with shock and surprise. They look as though they've seen some unbelievable sight yet still have not been able to accept it happened. Most notably, Keiko sees her long-time companions, Bryant and Tania looking at her like they've seen a ghost, both their eyes filled with fresh, subtle tears.
“Um…why are you guys looking at me like I'm an alien or something? Do I…look so strange?” The two fall to their knees and bow down to the floor, startling Keiko and surprising her. “Huh?”
