Nan Jiaojiao watched him walk over, and just as he got close, Bo Yanching reached out to hold her. Nan Jiaojiao quickly placed her hand in his palm.
Her sudden obedient gesture surprised Bo Yanching. He was afraid she had encountered something unpleasant, so he swallowed the words he had long prepared and first showed concern: "What's wrong?"
Nan Jiaojiao lowered the corners of her mouth, "I'm sorry."
Bo Yanching raised his eyebrows in surprise, "Apologizing to me?"
"About yesterday," Nan Jiaojiao subtly moved her finger in his palm, her little finger just caught between his two fingers. With her head bowed, she said in a muffled voice, "I had secrets I kept from you too. I shouldn't have pushed you. I didn't actually want to know that much, it's just that my emotions got in the way. After I left you, I regretted it."
Bo Yanching smiled slightly, "Did you figure it out while dancing in the square?"
Nan Jiaojiao suddenly looked up, "How did you know?"
