Arthur Bowin carefully took out a golden ring from his pocket,with one knee down as he extended his hands towards a girl.
"Will you marry me,Alice"
Arthur said happily.
A girl with scarlet hair tired into a ponytail stood firmly in front of Arthur, she had a beautiful face and a body that exuded a graceful aura.
Looking at her pretty face was Arthur's sole motivation in life,But his joy turned into sorrow after he heard the next few words that came of her mouth.
"What a piece of crap,Do you think I,ll accept you, I never loved you I only wanted your money."Alice said in response to his words"
Arthur Bowin a 23-year-old man who had no ambition in life ,we was seen useless by his own family for not being able to meet their expectations.
His family was filled with beautiful,handsome and talented individuals.hewas the odd one among his family for not being capable of following in their foot steps,he was ignored by them.
He had always been alone until he met Alice,who changed his life.
That was the greatest day of his life and from that day decided to work hard to meet her expectations.
His world turned upside down after he heard what she said.He never expected this kind of response.
"Why would you do this ?"Arthur asked with disappointment.
"Because you're not capable of taking of me!" Alice replied with no remorse.
She then took out another ring and said"This is an engagement ring ,which my husband to be gave me.
Feeling ashamed Arthur ran away from her"Why?Why did she have to do this.Why me"
He thought about it as he ran, eventually arriving at the highway ran across without looking as an approaching vehicle knocked him down.
As he laid down on the ground with blood following from his body he begun to remember the life he had lived till now.with only worded in his mind "why" until he died.
THE NEXT DAY
He woke up and with a hoarse voice,said to himself,"I_ _ did I die? wait where am I"
He could see unfamiliar things around him and also felt healthy,He then inspected his body,as he found that he was without any wounds ,he stood up from his bed with no struggle as stepped on to the floor,as his foot landed he noticed that he was short as he felt usual, walking towards a mirror which hung on the wall of the room, he looked through it and and noticed he had a different appearance and looked younger he also had golden hair and looked like a teenager.
He started to walk around the room which seemed like nothing special.
But before his thoughts could assess the situation,he felt his head hurt as strange and foreign memories burst into his mind.
After while everything ended,He now understood what was happening,he had died on earth and was reincarnated inside the body of the youth.
Now he had two sets of memories one from his old life and the other from his new life, looking through his memories understood how the world work,he had reincarnated in a world know as the spirit continent, The world was filled with spirit energy and was the foundation of all things within it,those who manage to acquire this power and learn to control it to do their bidding are know as spirit masters.
There were ten realm in the cultivation path they were" Spirit practitioner, Spirit master, Spirit grandmaster, Spirit general, Spirit lord, Spirit king Spirit emperor, Spirit monarch, Spirit saint, Spirit god, and with ten levels in each realm. Arthur also learnt that he was in the sho kingdom which ruled the west province and was in the sky city the capital of sho kingdom.
As Arthur sat on his bed thinking of his next step, he heard someone knocking on the door.
"Yes,who is it"
"The king requests your presence in the hall" a maid said.
Arthur knew what was going on, as from this Arthur's memories he had disobeyed the king and had join the examination for the selection of new talented students to join the sects, He failed the test due his undeveloped spirit core,
which got him injured, as he could not defend himself against a peak spirit practitioner.when the king found out got angry, as Arthur had disobeyed him and also making him lose face.
As Arthur followed the maid he was also escorted by two guards, Noises could be heard in the hall as they arrived, Arthur bowed showing a bit courtesy when the king saw him he raised his hand making everyone quiet.
"Arthur for disobeying me embarrassing ,I have decided on your punishment which is, I hereby banish you from our kingdom"
Arthur nodded without an expression as the king ordered the soldiers to give him a sack of money.
He was escorted by the guards to the outskirts where he was also given a map, looking onto the map chose to go the wastelands to start his life all over .
He started to walk towards the wasteland,This
place belonged to no one and those who conquered it claim it as their own,it's was a place where where only the strong survived.
it was home to ferocious beast which ran wildly through the great wastelands it was also populated by the descendants of archaic creatures which roamed about, It's also said to hold worldly treasures and ruins holding secrets of ancient civilizations.
It took Arthur a week's journey to reach the outer area of the wastelands, he took a out his map to know where he was going, as he looked onto the map he noticed a village close to his decided to go there as it was getting late, as he walked towards the villages direction he accidentally got lose within a thick forest which was also covered by the mist making one loose sense of direction, as he walked around he suddenly stumbled on a cave where he could rest for the meantime as he approached the cave he saw a light within it shinning being surprised walked towards it.
As he walked towards the light he tripped
on something and to his misfortune tyrannical bird cry rung through out the cave as suddenly the bird rose from its slumber and with it's fiery appearance lit the cave as if it was morning,as Arthur looked closely at the bird he noticed that he had come across a beast said to a legend on earth it was the legendary Flame bird the Phoenix.
