Zhou Fan began to cultivate, but spent a bit more time paying attention to what was happening in the Multiverse. After all, he had so much time he didn't know what to do with it.
As always, with his standards so high, it was hard to find anybody worth noticing. He spent most of his time observing the System's transformation, wondering what it would become.
The Multiverse was so big that few could imagine it. It had already grown to an unimaginable degree. Countless beings were born every moment, and it was only natural for some unique talents to be born.
In a distant Universe at the edge of the Multiverse, a man was born. This man was skilled from birth. Like Pan, he was good at techniques. Unlike Pan, it wasn't limited to palm techniques. Every single type of technique could be mastered.
Not only could he master every type of technique, but he could do so after seeing it once. His rise to power resulted in him being given the name, "The Technique Master."
It was a simple name, but it perfectly described the man.
Years passed before Zhou Fan finally took notice of the man. By that time, he was in the True God realm.
The man was extraordinarily wise. He was always calm and seemed to know everything. He also looked old despite being a True God. With his fast advancement speed, age naturally wasn't the cause.
The man was simply cultivating in space quietly. He did not fight much, despite having mastered thousands of techniques.
Nobody around dared start a fight with him. He had made his power clear plenty of times, and with his demeanor that was neither arrogant, holy, or submissive, he seemed like an elder to even people younger than him. When he did fight, he went to the beastlands, the home of almost all beasts in his Universe.
Techniques used by beasts were a bit harder to copy, though he had still yet to find a technique he couldn't master after seeing it used once.
After a while, he left for the beastlands. He went to find a specific opponent, one that was quite good at running away.
The Technique Master quickly found it using a detection technique. A giant finger crashed down onto the lizard's nest as it scurried away.
It used a movement technique that was only supposed to be used by beings with four legs, but the Technique Master had simply changed it a bit to work with his two legs.
After playing around with it for a bit, comparing its speed to his, he used a different movement technique, turning his body into light and appearing directly in front of the lizard.
He chopped down and the lizard split in half without resistance. He had learned this technique from a monk who had spent his entire life practicing it. He was so discouraged when the Technique Master perfected it after seeing it once that he entered seclusion and was never seen again.
Supposedly, they had found his dusty bones later on.
He hadn't been the first or the last being the Technique Master had killed from anger.
The Technique Master did not do anything with the lizard's body after killing it. He instead began to move towards another area of the beastlands, where he hoped to find a different beast.
But before he got far, a terrifying pressure descended. A large dragon swooped down, transforming into a humanoid figure wielding a sword.
"You killed my nephew, Technique Master. Die." The dragon said without wasting any time.
The pressure descended on the Technique Master, making him feel as if he was stuck in tar.
This was a High Sage realm dragon, a being three realms above him.
The dragon swung the sword in its hand, and a powerful crescent of Sword Intent attacked the Technique Master.
The Technique Master's eyes sharpened as he evaded.
He barely avoided the attack by an inch.
The dragon swung again, but so did the Technique Master.
Its technique met the same exact technique in the air. Somehow, the Technique Master's skill in the technique seemed even higher than the dragon's in that moment.
In addition, the Technique Master had discerned the weakness of the technique, resulting in the dragon's attack shattering quickly as a cut appeared on the humanoid figure's arm.
The dragon looked at him in shock, but the Technique Master was already shooting at him.
The dragon held its sword up, but the Technique Master's finger vibrated for just a moment as he shot past the dragon. He turned around as a thin line cut off the dragon's arm and punched out.
The dragon expanded by thousands of times, filling the sky with its true form.
But the Technique Master's punch was already let out, hitting the dragon square on.
"Divine Fist of the Eighteenth Immortal."
Blood spilled from all of the holes in the dragon's body, including its pores.
"Wait!"
"Beast Expelling Snap."
The Technique Master snapped his fingers, and the dragon exploded into a pile of flesh, bones, and blood.
Without a word, the Technique Master headed towards his original target, not bothering to linger.
This was just one of the Technique Master's many feats.
It was said that a technique could only be used against him a single time, as if one used it twice, they would be completely countered.
His comprehension was unparalleled throughout the Multiverse.
His journey continued on towards the Immortal realms, where he continued without ever failing to completely learn a technique after seeing it once.
Even when the rare Immortal Technique appeared, he comprehended it perfectly.
Even Zhou Fan wanted to see how far this man's comprehension could go, but that would have to wait until he was strong enough to once again attract Zhou Fan's interest.
Until then, he once again turned to look at the System.
Its long transformation was finally ending.
Its form was no longer that of a human nervous system.
Instead, a giant, diamond shaped crystal floated in the void.
Tiny specks flew from it, traveling across the Multiverse by borrowing some of its power.
