If Shira used her death threads, even Bowen had no way to parry or dodge them. Of course, he could escape before they were activated, but the reality was that he hadn't found a countermeasure for that skill yet. Let's assume Shira didn't want to kill a human because she had never done it before. At the very least, she could use her binding ropes to incapacitate the target. Moreover, the harlot was only an F-rank, awakened by Shira's aura.
What the hell is happening here? Why is she acting this way? Bowen was confused.
But Shira was determined to be rescued by Bowen. She didn't even try to escape, standing there paralyzed and begging for help.
Sighing, Bowen relented. "Fine, fine," he said, taking two steps closer.
"Stay where you are! If you take one more step towards me, I will kill this girl," she threatened.
