Dylan was now inside.
As usual, he had a calm expression on his face.
Only when Lily observed him carefully did she notice the unnatural stiffness in his pose.
After he finished explaining to her, Lily intentionally said, "But... I'm not close to Samuel. Wouldn't it be inappropriate for me to go to his party?"
In other words, Lily wanted him to make public that she was his girlfriend, or else it would seem inappropriate for her to join his friend's party.
Dylan did not lift his head to look at her in the eyes.
With his gaze lowered, he stared at his cigarette case before opening it. "It's fine. You can just enjoy yourself there. Ms. South said you enjoy parties, and it'll be boring for you to stay cooped up at home."
At that, Lily was thrilled.
She had been analyzing Dylan's expressions.
Noticing the way he was hanging his head and avoiding her gaze, she knew he must have been tempted by her entering his bed the other day.
