THUD! THUD! THUD!

Ethan's footsteps echoed through the Lookout like war drums announcing doom. The cutting morning wind carried not just the scent of dew, but promises of pain that'd make anyone reconsider their life choices.

"Alright, gang" – he stopped in the center, the warriors around him looking like lambs awaiting slaughter. "Radika was clear. One year to become something more than cosmic punching bags."

CRACK!

Krillin cracked his knuckles, that nervousness disguised as confidence everyone recognizes. "Man, after everything we've been through, how much worse can it get?"

Yamcha let out a dry laugh. "Dude, you just jinxed the whole thing."

"Exactly" – Ethan's smile was the kind that makes you wanna call your lawyer and update your will. "That's why this time things are gonna be different."

He waved to Bulma, who emerged dragging a briefcase that looked straight out of a technicolor 70s nightmare. The thing shined so bright you could use it as an emergency flare.

"I present to you" – Bulma opened the case with dramatic flair worthy of a soap opera – "the Mark VII Portable Gravity Machine!"

BEEP! BEEP! WHIRR!

The thing inside blinked like a possessed Christmas tree. Looked like a regular radio, but the energy emanating from it made even the air feel heavier.

"This beauty allows training at up to a hundred times Earth's gravity" – Bulma was proud as a peacock. "Perfect for anyone with a fetish for becoming paste!"

"A hundred times?" – Tenshinhan furrowed all three brows. "Isn't that kinda... suicidal?"

"Only if you're soft" – Ethan shrugged. "But wait, there's more. Kami!"

The orange Namekian floated over, his new power making even plants grow faster – like a walking botanical steroid.

"You know about unlocking hidden potential, right?" – Kami's hands already glowed with mystical energy. "As Grand Elder now, I can do this on an... industrial scale."

RUMBLE...

The entire Lookout trembled, as if Earth itself had felt a cosmic shiver.

"But first" – Ethan raised his hand – "I'm gonna teach you a technique that can save your asses. It's called Kaioken."

SILENCE...

The silence was so deep you could hear ants walking.

"Kai-o-what?" – Krillin broke the ice.

"Kaioken. Power multiplication technique I learned from... reliable sources" – the mystery in his smile was palpable. "Multiplies strength, speed, everything. But there's a price."

"Always is" – Yamcha grumbled.

"The price is your body" – seriousness dropped like an anvil. "Abuse it, and you tear yourself apart from the inside. Literally."

FWOOM!

Red aura exploded around him like hell decided to work overtime. The air became thick as hot molasses.

"Kaioken times two!"

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

The ground couldn't take the message and cracked like a teenager's heart. The pressure sent everyone back two steps.

"Feel that?" – his voice echoed pure power. "That's what happens when you force your body beyond natural limits."

The aura vanished like cheap magic.

"Holy shit" – Tenshinhan whispered. "Impressive and terrifying."

"Exactly. But combine that with increased gravity, unlocked potential, and a year of beatdowns..." – the smile returned. "You'll be ready for anything."

Unknown Dimension

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Space shattered like a public bathroom mirror, revealing Fu floating in the dimensional void. His eyes gleamed with that sadistic amusement of someone watching chaos reality TV.

"How cute" – he observed multiple realities dancing. "The earthlings preparing. Painfully predictable."

SWOOSH!

With a gesture, he opened a window showing Frieza's golden ship cutting through space.

"And what do we have here?" – Fu saw Frieza meditating on his throne. "The frozen emperor playing zen."

But what he felt killed the smile.

Frieza's power was... different. Denser, refined, like wine aged in barrels of destruction.

"Transformations" – Fu connected telepathically for a second. "Creative. And useful as hell."

FLASH!

Another portal opened, showing a circular white room with a giant clock.

"Hyperbolic Time Chamber" – he was already scheming. "A year inside, a day outside. Perfect for... accelerating things."

Casually, he planted the coordinates in Frieza's mind like an accidental discovery.

"Now..." – Fu turned to another ship where Vegita trained violently. "What to do with our temperamental princess?"

CRASH! BOOM!

On screen, Vegita destroyed training dummies like a bratty kid with Legos. Golden aura pulsed uncontrolled.

Potential. Raw, unfocused potential.

"Super Saiyan" – he recognized. "The legend awakening without GPS. What a waste."

Vegita tried reaching something she felt but couldn't touch. Like trying to scratch your back with a cast on.

"Maybe..." – the cruel smile returned. "She needs a little push."

CRACK!

Invisible micro-portal near the ship. Through it, he whispered a word charged with power:

"Mint."

The name echoed in her mind like an annoying earworm. With it came false memories – an inferior Saiyan being stronger than royalty.

ROOOOOAR!

Vegita's scream cracked the ship's hull. Golden aura exploded wilder.

"There we go" – Fu laughed. "Nothing like well-directed rage for evolution."

But he didn't stop. Implanted another suggestion – earthlings laughing at her, mocking royal pride.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

The ship began breaking apart under the aura's pressure.

"Princess!" – Nappa woke up scared. "What the hell's happening?"

"THEY DARE!" – her voice melted metal. "DARE TO LAUGH AT ME!"

Fu watched satisfied as power rose, fed by artificial rage.

"Perfect" – he murmured. "Let her arrive on Earth like this. The humiliation when she discovers the 'weaklings' are strong will shatter any remaining sanity."

He closed the portals, satisfied with the planted chaos.

"One year" – he said to the void. "One year until the pieces align. Then we'll see what happens when gods, princes, and mortals collide on that insignificant blue marble."

CRACK!

The dimension closed, leaving only the echo of laughter promising storms.

And on Earth, oblivious to cosmic manipulations, the warriors continued training.

Preparing for something much worse than they imagined.

Poor bastards.

They had no idea how deep the shit they were in really was.
