Chapter 67 - The Escape Of The Under Shrine

Chapter 67: The Escape Of The Under Shrine

"Come on hurry!" Maleva commanded her man to hurry a bit more.

The pair had to run out of the under shrine with Marsha's followers on their tail.

"I'm trying. You're going too fast for me," Michael pointed out to her. It was true that Maleva was quite the fastest hunter of the two.

They managed to find the secret stairs that led them downstairs and climbed back upstairs to the actual shrine where everything began. They could feel shadows following them. Stalking them. They couldn't afford to stop. Not even for a split-second, otherwise, they'd get caught, and their entire mission would be a disaster.

"Finally some fresh air!" Maleva lifted her arms up in the air and while they were not of the woods yet, that breeze she felt on her face and on the rest of her body upon getting back to the surface came across as some kind of pure renewal to her. She felt alive once more.

"Don't stop now, Mal. We still have to escape the shrine," he reminded her.

"You two are not going anywhere, all of a sudden, they heard this dark voice at the top of the stairs. One of Marsha's followers was waiting for them upstairs.

It was an ambush!

Michael and Maleva found themselves trapped between the two of them. One was chasing them going up the stairs and the other one was a shadowy woman who stood at the top of the stairs. There was not a lot of room to move around. They were caught by surprise.

"Oh, no, what are we going to do now?" Michael asked himself, reading to use that boobs bouncing sword on them if he had to.

"We're going to fight!" According to Maleva, that one was pretty simple. She was going to battle to the death. Using her wolf claws to desperately make her way out of this deadly situation.

"Of course, that's exactly what you're going to do," Michael smiled as he expected nothing less from his girlfriend. Maleva was so aggressive most of the time. He adored that about her.

"That blade is ours," the shadowy woman at the top of the stairs confronted them again.

"Why the heck are you still working for my mother?" Rage overwhelmed her, and Maleva desperately shouted at the shadowy woman before them.

"Your… Mother…?" the shadowy woman asked her, confused.

"Yeah. Marsha is her mom. Didn't you know what?" Michael came in and supported his girl.

"I do not know what you thought was going on, but we are not working for Marsha."

"Huh?" Maleva didn't see that coming.

"What?" nor did Michael.

"We worked with her, but never for her," the shadowy woman revealed to them.

"What are you talking about?" this clearly changed everything for Maleva and Michael. Not only did they both think for sure that all of these people worked for her mom, but they also believed that they understood what this was about—avenging Marsha and freeing her from her jail, but this no longer seemed what this was about, at all. None of these two shadowy shapes appeared to be intending to do any of this in the end, which was quite worrying about the couple, since that meant that they now officially had no idea what they were after other than this wolf blade Michael held in his hands. The shadowy presences became more dangerous than her as they closed in on them. Squeezing them. Depriving them of room. They felt more isolated than ever before. The couple desperately attempted to think of a way out of this. Their number one goal right now—escaping with the prized item they acquired and bringing it back to the town of Cherry Wood safely. If Michael and Maleva could both make it out alive and well and safe, that would also be a big positive, but that one part of the equation was not so certain all things considered with how badly they were squished at the center of these stairs which led from the under shrine to the actual shrine upstairs.

"What do you mean? What do you mean you never worked for her?" Maleva perfectly knew it was time to act and fight, probably, but she still meant to ask the shadowy person for more information. She desperately wished to know more about her mom.

"Your little mommy got too lusty for her own good. That's all. She thought her lust would be enough to solve everything for her. Your mom was too dumb to see anything clearly. Even if it was right in front of her eyes. She thought she could have all the sins for herself all alone—you—all the others—and even him," the shadowy woman referred to Michael/Hunter, which left Maleva quickly turning her head to him.

"Michael?"

"Me?"

This was a bad mistake on her end.

Maleva innocently turned her gaze to her boyfriend and this was exactly when the reckless shadowy woman suddenly acted! She made her move on the huntress and attacked her while she was totally distracted.

"It's time to perish!"

"Mal! Watch out!" he tried warning her at the last second.

It was too late for Maleva. She couldn't move fast enough to avoid her attack. It was up to Michael to do something about it because he saw her coming before she did.

I've got to do something to save her!

Slash!

A swing of wolf blade later and the hunter had cut the shadowy woman in half! Protecting the woman of his life!

"Ahhh!" the shadow woman was done for.

There was no blood. There were only shadows that came out of the assailant.

However, the shadowy man behind them at the bottom of the stairs then also came for them.

No! The other one is making his move!

Thankfully, Michael heard it coming. Unfortunately, he wouldn't have enough time to spin around and counterattack. However, what he did manage to do was to move the blade up and down, which immediately resulted in Maleva's succulent breasts sloppily bouncing up and down. The huntress, having just spun around herself to face the shadow man, her large and heavy tits slammed right across the face of the enemy!

Sending him flying backward on the stairs!

"Um… Sorry!" Maleva apologized to their enemy.

"Don't apologize, Mal, you got him!" Michael was so proud of his girlfriend.
