The next few days have been dull and sad for me because Jay wouldn't even see me and always made excuses when I wanted to see him, I felt so sad that I hadn't been eating, it was when I was at work doing a project that needed to be submitted that I had a sharp pain in my head and a few seconds later I passed out.when I opened my eyes I saw a white tiled ceiling in my view ,my eyes where still abit groggy but I heard some sounds beside me and once I saw who it was I got anxious but immediately tried getting up to speak to him, but before I could try he stopped me an said",you just woke up don't strain yourself ", but I completely ignoring him began explaining anyway ",Look Jay I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner but that's what I wanted to go into detail about on our date but chase ruined things, and even though we were once a thing in the past ,it's all over now and it's you I want not him he messed up and that's his problem but my heart beats for you and ever since that fight I haven't been feeling good without you babe", and after saying that I began tearing up but Jay was quick on trying to calm me down ,wiping away my tears he said ", I uh understand actually and now that I think about it the way I reacted was too childish and ofcourse I get it now, besides he's just your ex and I'm your present, and also I'm sorry for making you worry I just needed to clear my head you know ,but anyways I'm sorry and the truth is I also couldn't stop thinking about you ,but I just felt abit torned on what to do ,and I promise I won't do that again, I love you Tina and my heart beats for you too so please get well", and once he was done we hugged it out and talked about different things ongoing ,and that's how he informed me about how things were going ,on his side and he said that his parents had been asking about me from him and that he made lots of excuses to hide the fight, so i sitting and listening on about his rambling made me happy that we were okay .
Some minutes later the doctor showed up to check on my vitals and once he confirmed that it was okay for me to be discharged, we quickly arranged my stuff and went out to the reception, but I halted in my steps upon seeing chase there at the waiting area holding a big bouquet of roses ,and upon he noticing me he quickly got up and walked towards me but I instantly quickly wrapped my arms around Jay's arm in protection ,and chase upon seeing that ,eyed my hand that clung unto Jay's arm in silent rage then said ",well well its good to see you here Mr ,and I'll take it from here please lend her to me", just hearing that phrase made me so angry that I couldn't control myself and stepped forward and before anyone could blink, I gave him a hard slap ,so hard that the after effects stung my palm ,then I retracted my hand and faced him head on while everyone in the reception watched on and said ",I'm not a toy for you to drag about with my boyfriend we ended things a long time ago remember and it was all your fault so stay away from me, my life and my boyfriend okay chase ,I don't ever want to lay my eyes on you so just leave ", hearing what I said and still coming off the the slap gave him ,he walked towards Jay and was quick in fisting his collar between his hands and pushed him to the ground and began punching him continuously and so upon seeing that security was quick in taking chase out of the hospital for causing a disturbance so in anger he yelled out furiously ",YOU JAY I'll GET YOU AND MAKE YOU PAY!!!", still shaking from anger I quickly went towards Jay's side to check up on him luckily he was okay but bruised and he upon seeing my worried look comforted me ",its okay love I'm fine let's go home", saying that he stood up dusted his shoulders and led me out of the hospital towards the parking lot, then he pulled out his keys opened the door and secured me in before shutting it and going to his side and starting the car.
Once we arrived I was abit sleepy so Jay packed my things into my room before going to the kitchen to prepare some porridge, and while he was in the kitchen I went into the bathroom to freshen up ,while loathing soap onto the sponge my mind went onto the days event and that made me have a headache trying to forget what happened I decided to bathe faster.
While eating the porridge I commented ",Mmmm this is so good babe where did you learn how to do it I thought you don't cook", with suprise etched on my face ,hearing my praise he giggled wiped the smudge on my lips and said while keeping eye contact ",I just followed my instincts and wvala its done ,so do you like it love"; ",yes yes this is great I", exclaimed with a wide smile on my face , seeing my expression he was filled with content, so upon seeing that I've finished it he took the plate away and came to tuck me into bed while he went to freshen up, so while he was in the bathroom I fondled with the pillow beside me thinking about how disgusted chase been making me and contemplating whether to cut ties completely (hmmm I don't know why he's been acting out lately when he didn't show such things earlier ,what a jerk) suddenly the sound of a phone ringing jolted me out of my thoughts and ,upon seeing that it was my phone I checked the caller and saw that it chase the same person I didn't want to hear from, so I rejected the call and tried to fall asleep but the phone kept ringing and when it finally stopped it started vibrating with texts so I switched off my phone and went to sleep.
Meanwhile in the bathroom, Jay was having a cold shower thinking about chase and the punch he took, but upon that memory he bit his cheek until he felt the metallic taste then he started deliberating within himself ( if I had just acted abit faster I would have shown that bastard his place and make him leave valentina alone for good but at this rate if I don't do anything valentina might get hurt and I don't want her to be hurt or worried ugh that jerk ,I should get a bodyguard to protect valentina because, I can't let him get her who knows what he would do once he gets a chance, No I won't let him harm her)he thought to himself with so vigour, turning off the shower he draped himself in a towel and went into the room ,while in the room he saw valentina's sleeping form on the bed and went closer to peck her forehead before going to change into his pj's,once he was done he joined her in bed and called it a night.
