The Spiritual Sense was born from nothing, because the soul was born from nothing. A person's origins were mysterious and strange. Some believed in reincarnation, but if one looked at the myriad of lives born and deceased each day, the numbers didn't add up, as life seemed to infinitely increase without limit.
So where did the soul come from? Many different sects had different answers, but most agreed that at least in the beginning, like all other things, souls were born from chaos, from nothing—something was born. And so, it was possible for souls to come from chaos.
