Eating heartily, Di Tou dug into the meal with renewed focus, biting and enjoying the pure and plain flavors of the vegetables, and taking sips of the clear soup that was slightly sweet and thick from the simmering the vegetables for a long time and the starch that had leeched out from the potato like vegetables.
