Still, although Di Tou could read these two… malicious desires of the Heavens that aimed to eradicate and assimilate him respectively, they were but side notes… and in a way, how… open these thoughts were was a bit relieving. The Heavens, as vast as their gaze might be, and as intricate as their plans may span, wasn't a cunning enemy. It was simply an omnipresent one.
Compared to a smiling villain who would shake your hand with one palm, and stick a knife in your back with another, the Heavens presented other issues to deal with, but at the very least, in this instance Di Tou knew that he wasn't being plotted against secretly… At most it was being plotted against openly!
