Prologue...
I looked up at the man before me certainly since he knew that I was a Xia ,he might as well know a illegitimate good for nothing daughter..
If he wanted money he would have kidnapped Xia Qing instead.
But his eyes were cold a distant .He seemed not to think of anything as he placed the phone on the coffee table beside the glass of water .
Thirsty all of a sudden I wanted water .Yes since yesterday or maybe days before had I had anything to eat.
Usually kidnapers have to feed their victims just to keep them alive.
So hopefully a glass won't hurt .. right?!
I looked at it with un noticed desire as I watched him lift it up then he stood up himself .
My eyes didn't go away from the reflecting sparks in the transparent glass.

I felt like crying and laughing ...maybe puke blood .
He drunk the whole glass of water in a few steady gentle gulps.
I shouldn't be disappointed,he didn't seem the type to offer me a drink.
He turned as walked over the coffee table to come near me only after putting the glass back to it place .If I hadn't seen him remove it earlier I would assume the water evaporated cause the glass seemed untouched.
"Lin Shu'er ,your mother I guess."he walked steadily till he was just my index finger length away from me.
My heartbeat uncontrollably at the mention of my mother's name.
"I have men around her so ..."he trailed off as he changed direction to what seemed like a walk-in wardrobe "I think for now we should start cooperating."
"What nonsense?!!" I stood up hastily despite the numbness of my body.
If he was to mess with me ,fine but not my mother .He will get a whopping.
"You might as well call her and see."he added as if he read through my mind.
This is when I noticed the phone he was holding earlier was mine .It's just that I had just replaced it that I don't recognize it.
I dashed to the coffee table and grabbed my phone.

16 missed calls from my mother I hurriedly called back .
Thank goodness she picked up at the second ring.
"Jo An where are you ,I have men watching me but it seems they were told not to stop me from doing what I want except moving out .I was also moved to a VIP room of a hospital."She said everything so quickly but I got each word.
I glanced to the direction where the lad had gone and there was not trace of him.
Yes ! Time to escape I walked swiftly to the door and lucky enough ___or not it was locked.
That god damn...god knows what.
I groaned and my mother got glimpse of it.
"Jo An are you okay ,you should come back soon I have a bad feeling"she said
Yeah me too I had a bad feeling about this. ha!like mother like daughter.
"I will but for now take care of yourself if there are any changes call me immediately." I finally spoke almost wispered seemed like what ever he was doing I there would take a long while.
"But..."my mother wanted to say something but I noticed them moving shadow and cut her off.
"I have something to take care of ,bye."
With that I harshly tapped the red button to stop the call.
Sure I had something to deal with.
"Someone to deal with" I heard his stoic deep voice as he walked out of the other room .
WTF ? Was he regarding himself to a person?
Hell no he is so manipulative and so on. He is a thing .
I met his grey deep eyes .Cold ,not very different from earlier.
"What do you want I have been honest I don't know what I did to deserve this treatment .
I promise with my life if I ever got to do have any thing ...."
"You are a suspect not the victim."he cut me short .

What was his problem anyway.
"So?" I regretted why I asked that.
"You have already signed a contract with me "I could feel a smug in his words thought his face was stoic .Damn hard stoic and cold .
"A bloody contract little An."he added. Making me glare at him like if looks could kill,I was sure he would be dead.
"____a bloody one sweetheart."he emphasized.
I felt my heart skip a bit as he moved closer to me he had not changed yet.Still in that grey robe which exposed his chiseled chest as it was tied loosely at the waist .if it was in another situation and I had no other staff to do like making the Xia family sorry .

I straightened my back and gwaked at him as he was so close to me I could feel my heart slamming hard on my chest.
Subconsciously I held my breathe,looked at his eyes. Those damnit grey devilish eyes .My neck hurt a little from looking up at him cause he was so tall two feet no...three taller than me. It made me feel small.
I held my position cause I didn't want to kiss him if I move he should be the first to back out....but no...
He leaned in closer and had his cold nose brush against my earlobe.
My eyes flew open again .

I finally came back to my senses.
"Are you crazy?" I snapped. "listen up pretty boy am not here to play around am not Little An nor sweetheart not your little wife ."I almost yelled.
"I agree." he said softly but coldly as he pulled away and walked to the book shelf at the end of the room and picked up a file. The strode back to me.
"You are a very good mistress material."
' What ?ha...ha...ha! ' I couldn't bring myself to laugh even in my brain .
Wow I was speeches for the first time in life maybe the second since my Rebirth also made me speeches.
Without my approval he lifted my left hand and showed me my already pricked finger .It was not bleeding any more then he showed me the small like blood finger print at the bottom of the page.
Besides was my signature,but I wasn't the one who signed but it was really like mine. I extend my sight further and saw my name in bold letters. At the other side was also a finger print to which I guessed was his then the signature that seemed like a work of an artist drawn by a calligraphy brush .And below.....
