The old Dwarf gave Mordred an amused look.
"All of them."
He turned toward the other Dwarves and raised one hand.
"Prepare the weapons."
The response was immediate.
Several Dwarves entered the armory while others activated the formations surrounding the storage chambers. Within minutes, the atmosphere inside the enormous room became filled with the sounds of metal moving against metal.
Arthur watched silently as the Dwarves worked.
There was no ceremony or any long explanation.
They simply selected what they needed.
A short while later, several Dwarves emerged from the armory, pushing a massive reinforced crate.
It was large enough to require four Dwarves to move it, and countless runes covered its metallic surface. Even through the sealed container, Arthur could feel a faint pressure radiating from within.
Mordred stared at it.
"That's all?"
The old Dwarf nodded.
"For now."
Mordred looked slightly disappointed.
The Dwarf immediately noticed.
