Itachi was still thinking over what he had recently learned. His partner had a brother who was apparently stronger then him and a 10 year old nephew who he just had a clash with. Itachi wondered what else might surprise him with his partner.
The two present Hoshigaki were currently talking about swordsman ship and blade qaulity, something they both knew quite a bit about. A small hut was now visible through the mist and Koi started getting nervous. He had spotted his mother.
'Kisame stiffened, I must be prepared.' Itachi thought watching his partner. He got ready for a fight, but what would occur would shock him.
Koi started to slightly edge off the path silently hoping to avoid his mother wrath. 'Almost there' he thought. He was grab by the collar and dragged back beside his uncle. "Where do you think your going brat?" Kisame growled out.
Koi looked at his uncle. "If your friend wasn't here, you would've done the same thing." Kisame just sighed before letting him go and saying; "You have a point, but your not sneaking off leaving me to her mercy."
Itachi was now alert. Someone that was in the area was strong enough to bend Kisame and scare him. While Itachi was right, he was wrong about it being one person.
A traditional Japanese house came into view, and with it a woman sitting on the front porch waiting for them with a smile. She was 5,8 and a Hoshigaki with long black hair and was wearing a dark blue kimono that had gold vine patterns on it with training pants underneath. She was simply beautiful, although she was wearing a pleasant smile that each of three shivered at seeing.
Itachi had a flash back of Kushina for some reason.
Kisame and Koi walked up to her and did a bow and said "Hello Kairi/Mom.". 'So this is Kisame sister in law' Itachi thought.
Kairi smiled and stood up with that smile still on. "Hello Kisame, its been a while. And Koi, do you mind telling me where you were for the past few hours instead of helping your father." It wasn't a question.
Koi straightened and started speaking "Well.... you see." "Answer honestly please." Kairi interrupted. "I went to ambush Uncle Kisame and I needed to be ready." Koi said.
Kairi nodded and turned to Kisame who straightened. "And you encouraged him?" She said. Kisame just started to scratch the back of his head sweating a little. He didn't say anything.
Kairi straightened and took a deep breath closing her eyes. "YOU IDIOTS!!!!" She yelled brining two fists down on there heads sending them both to the ground cracking it.
"Sorry mom/Kairi." the both of them said as they picked up themselves from the ground. Kairi gave a small "hmmpp" and turned to Itachi. "Who's your freind Kisame?" she asked eyeing him.
"A, sorry I haven't introduced." Kisame said standing up. "This is my partner, Uchiha Itachi." Kisame said. Kairi looked surprised before she sharpened her gaze on Itachi. Itachi just stared completely passive.
"Very well." was all Kairi siad. She then turned to the house and opened the sliding door walking inside. After she took off her sandals she turned to the right and turned something around. Koi and Kisame followed after and took off their sandals.
Koi turned to looked at the blade that his mother had turned the handle to the right, and indication off mistrust or war. That was mainly set to tell his father that either his or some unsavory visitors were around. No one was concerned about someone taking the blade since there were seals on the katana as well as the stand so it was unmovable by anyone that wasn't a member of his family minus his uncle.
'Mother being a rival of an Uzumaki has its perks; I wonder how her kid is doing, I should be the same age by now.' Koi thought.
Koi followed his mother into the living room that was set with tea for five people. She sat down on one of the mats she sat down and took a sip of her tea. 'She's pissed.' both Koi and Kisame thought.
They both quickly followed suit and sat down politely and drank there tea. Itachi confused about his partners behavior followed as well.
They started in silence for a few minutes before they heard a footstep and looked towards the doorway. There was a large man that was obviously a member of the Hoshigaki clan and looked like Kisame except had sharper features.
The first thought Itachi had was 'This man's a monster.' and he was. He stood 7 feet 3 inches of pure hardens muscle with scars of his chest and hands. Itachi also saw how large, dense, and controlled this man's Chakra was. It was bigger then Kisame and several times denser.
The man looked at the people in the room while holding the katana and scabbard as he stood with a posture that screamed that he was a disciplined and dangerous warrior. Kairi and Koi smiled. "Hello dear/dad." They said.
Itachi looked at his partner, this was his brother. Kismae nodded at his brother. "Hello brother Ryu."
Ryu nodded. "Hello brother Kise" he said with a smirk.
Itachi had one thought. 'Kis?'
