Chapter One: The Crash
Luke Dunphy had always been different. He was never quite like the other kids in his class, and he never quite fit in. But he had never felt quite as different as he did on the day of the crash.
It was a beautiful afternoon in the small town of Greystone. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Luke was on his way home from school. As he walked down the quiet suburban street, he noticed something strange in the sky.
At first, he thought it was a bird. But as it grew closer, he realized it was something much bigger. It was a spacecraft, hurtling through the sky and heading straight for him.
Luke froze, unable to move as the spacecraft came crashing down in front of him. He shielded his eyes as the debris rained down around him, and he felt a sudden surge of heat and power wash over him.
As the dust settled, Luke slowly opened his eyes and saw the impossible. A figure stood before him, clad in a red and blue suit with a cape flowing behind him. The figure turned to Luke and spoke in a language he didn't understand.
But then, something strange happened. As the figure spoke, Luke began to understand him. It was as if a switch had been flipped in his brain, and suddenly everything that once seemed hard to understand suddenly became as simple as the abcs.
The figure introduced himself as Jor-El, a Kryptonian scientist who had sent his son Kal-El (Luke) to Earth many years ago. Jor-El explained to Luke about his kryptonian heritage and his unique all speak skill, he aldo explained how he sent to Earth as a baby to escape the destruction of their home planet.
Luke was stunned. He had always known he was different, but he had never imagined anything like this. Jor-El told him that he had been sent to Earth to fulfill a great destiny, to use his powers to protect the people of his new home. Luke was stunned he always knew he was different from his family but he never imagined it was something like this. While it scared him it also made him excited as well if the first time in his life Luke felt whole.
And so, Luke Dunphy, Kryptonian, began a new life on Earth. With his incredible powers and his newfound ability to understand every language in the universe, he set out to find his place in this strange new world. And he knew that whatever lay ahead, he would face it with courage, strength, and the unwavering spirit of a hero.
