The two cars rumbled along the cracked, mist-covered road, their headlights barely cutting through the white veil that hung over the landscape like a ghost's shroud. The silence inside the first car was only broken by the engine's low growl and the occasional thud of pebbles under the tires.

Yunfeng glanced sideways at her, one hand steady on the steering wheel. "Then it's not your power that's the problem," he said calmly. "It's your emotions. The mist reacts to your state of mind. Control your emotions, calm yourself—then it'll obey you, not the other way around."
