Chapter 16 - Himiko Toga

It was a calm Monday morning, and Neito Monoma, the 15-year-old genius with blonde hair and a kind smile, was walking down the street. He was on his way to the park when his phone suddenly rang. He stopped and picked it up.

"Neito," said Nezu's voice from the phone. "The girl you're looking for, the one with the Transform quirk, is at a park by the coast. It's only a few minutes from where you are now. Go meet her, but be careful. She seems a bit mentally unstable."

Neito listened carefully, then nodded. "Okay, I'll go there now," he said, hanging up.

Neito felt excited. He had been waiting for this moment. Before leaving for overseas, he wanted to collect a few special quirks. The Transform quirk was very powerful, and he was determined to get it.

Neito put on his jacket and grabbed his bag, then he headed toward the park.

At the same time, Himiko Toga, a girl with messy blonde hair and yellow eyes, was walking down a busy street. Her friends had gone to a karaoke bar, but Toga didn't want to go. She wanted to go to the park and relax by herself. Maybe a bird might come close to her, and she could...

She reached into her pocket and felt her knife, stabby-chan. She smiled to herself, hoping a bird might land near her. Then they could have some fun together.

Toga walked through the tall grass until she reached her favorite place in the park. It was quiet and peaceful. She liked it there. She could be herself and no one would bother her.

But when she got closer to her bench, she saw a boy sitting there. He had blonde hair like hers. He looked strong and calm.

Toga stopped for a moment. She did not want to fight or argue with anyone today. Her mind was full of strange thoughts, but seeing his peaceful smile made her feel calm. His quietness made her wild thoughts slow down.

She decided to try talking to him. He did not look dangerous, and as long as he wasn't bleeding she could act normal.

"Hey!" Toga said softly. She walked up to him without making a sound, like a ghost. "I'm Himiko Toga. You took my spot."

The boy looked up. He was surprised but did not seem nervous or worried. "Oh, sorry, Toga-san," he said kindly. "There is lots of room. You can sit next to me."

Toga felt better. Most people would be uneasy or look at her strangely because she moves without noise and shows up suddenly. But this boy was nice.

She sat down beside him. "Thanks," she said quietly.

"My name is Neito Monoma," he said. "I don't think I have seen you here before. Why do you come to this part of the park?"

Toga smiled a little and looked to the side. "I come here when I want to be alone. It is peaceful. I like it."

Neito smiled back. "Yes, I know. It is good to have a quiet place."

They sat quietly for a while. They both liked the calm of the park.

Then Neito asked, "Toga-san, what is your quirk? You seem nice. I bet you have a cool quirk."

Toga felt nervous. She knew this question would come. People always asked about her quirk. She didn't want to explain it. Her quirk was strange. She had to drink blood to use it. Most people felt uncomfortable or even afraid when they heard that.

But Neito waited kindly. So she decided to tell him.

"My quirk is called Transform," she said softly. "It is not very strong. It is not very useful, haha."

She hoped he would stop asking. But Neito looked interested.

"Transform? That sounds cool," he said. "How does it work? Can you change into me?"

Toga's heart beat fast. She did not want to tell how her quirk worked. It sounded strange and scary. But he was asking to see her quirk.

Now she had to tell him.

"To use it, I need blood," she said carefully. "I have to drink some blood to change into someone."

She immediately regretted saying that. It definitely sounded terrible to him. But Neito didn't seem bothered. Instead, he just laughed.

"My blood?" he said with a smile. "How much do you need? Like a drop?"

Toga blinked, surprised. She wasn't expecting him to be okay with it. "As much as I can!!" she said, before quickly covering her mouth with both hands. "I mean, it's not as bad as it sounds!"

Neito shrugged like it wasn't a big deal. "Alright, go ahead. I don't mind."

Toga was shocked. He didn't seem upset or worried at all. He was just letting her drink his blood? Most people would run away, but Neito was acting like it was nothing.

Neito pulled up his sleeves, showing his arm. "Do you just bite me, or is there another way you drink the blood?"

Toga's face turned red. She had never been asked that before. Her teeth were itching, and she felt an urge to bite. She looked at him with wide eyes. "Can I... can I drink your blood like that, Neito-kun?"

Neito didn't act nervous or afraid at all. He just smiled. "Sure, go ahead. I don't mind."

Toga didn't need to be told twice. She grabbed his arm and bit down. Blood filled her mouth, and she couldn't stop herself from feeling happy. She had been waiting for this moment for so long. She felt free, like she could finally be herself.

Neito winced a little, but he didn't pull away. He knew his quirk, Super Regeneration, would heal him quickly. He wasn't worried at all.

Toga kept drinking for a little while, feeling better with each sip. She had been holding herself back for so long, trying to act normal. But now she didn't have to pretend anymore.

Neito didn't stop her. He was calm and just watched her. His plan was simple. He had already copied her quirk, so it didn't matter if she drank his blood. He wasn't in any danger.

Neito had been targeting Toga for a while. His original goal had been to get Jin Bubaigawara's Double quirk, but when he found Toga, he knew he had to get her quirk before she broke down.

The moment Toga bit him, Neito knew he had already succeeded. He didn't care that she was drinking his blood. He had already copied her quirk.
