We were in the dark void
I turn around to see a calm Ainz gazing at me
"Now Ainz, i will let you choose our next world" As i say that, i spawn a table in front of me and put 3 cards on it
1 card has a shuriken & kunai, another card has a person surrounded by darkness and the last one has someone with blonde air fighting on space
Ainz gazes at the cards and then at me...
"Really?" Ainz asks
"What? Its more fun this way, now just choose one"
"So the first one i assume is a ninja world, the last one is about some powerful people who can fight on space with their bodies alone... what is the middle one?" Ainz asks with curiosity
"This card means we will go to a world where a person is followed by darkness and death" I take the middle one and the card start to move like a video
The person is running from the darkness, doing his best to stay alive. He has a panicking face but the darkness gets him... Then the card resets and the person keeps running
"This is... intriguing, ill this one. I want to see this person and if able, save him from that darkness" Ainz says with a chuckle
"Well then" I clap my hands and the table with the 2 other cards dissapear. Leaving only the middle one
The card starts to dissapear and in its place appears a portal
"Before going, let me put some illusion on you so you dont scare many people." i snap my fingers and... Ainz doesnt change
"Now people of that world will see you as human unless you want them to see your real body"
"Thats convenient" Ainz says
"Before going, want to see your own status? You can understand yourself better if you see it i think"
"Status? like... in a game?" Ainz asks with curiosity, expecting a system panel with levels
"Almost" I say and then a panel shows in front on Ainz, showing his status (Read last chapter too see it in detail)
"Oh... interesting, what is this protagonist title?" Ainz touch the title and the explanation appears
"So... i was the protagonist of my world? Interesting, and my overlord level gained 1 point? i think thats the effect of leveling to 101... as for the realm thing which says God lvl.1, how you define it?" Ainz asks after understanding most of it
"Well, its a simple way to measure your power level, for now i have seen Half-superhuman, Superhuman, Transcendent, Half-god and God. "
"Okay, thats easy" Ainz then wave his wand and the system dissapears, making Ainz to lift a brow... metaphorically
"You can now summon your own status just by thinking, like in a game" I say to him
"Convenient. Now shall we go?" Ainz says and starts to walk to the portal
"Sure, after you" I smile and enter the portal after Ainz
...
We appear in the middle of the street, shocking some of the people who saw us appear out of nowhere
"This is... a medieval world? Like my world?" Ainz asks while gazing around while walking
"Yes, its a medieval world with magic. Although there are no gods in this world there are witches, who are the equivalent and has some weird abilities" I answers
"So, what do you want to-" Before i finish, the world around us crumbles and we appear on the place where we first arived
"... ... ... What was that?" Asks a confused Ainz, while remembering that they werent doing anything weird, just walking
'Dont tell me...' I thought with a twitching brow of a possibility
"I think its because of the person i told you about, the one escaping from darkess"
"That person can do this? Is he that powerful to even affect us?" Ainz is very intereseted now
"Well... no, he is a normal human with no powers... except that he goes back in time after dying"
"He goes back... in time? thats pretty useful... although not much if you are a normal human with no power" Ainz says and then thought of how he is a normal human, making him frown
"Want to see him? Although from distance, as i dont want us to make contact with him yet" I ask Ainz
"Sure, why not? I want to how a normal human can manage with that power"
"Then lets go. {Gate}" I say and then a gate appears in front of us
"Really? was this necesary? cant you just teleport is there?"
"Well, your worlds gate looks pretty cool so this is better, right?" I asks and then enter the giant portal
"Mmm... i think you are right" Ainz says and follows
As we leave... the people surrounding us are watching the empty air with stupid faces
"I think i im going crazy... was that a giant portal or something?" Random guy A
"Im with you man, lets stop drinking at night" Random guy B
...
We appear high on the sky. Ainz leaves the gate and cast {fly}
"Can you warn me atleast?" Ainz says grumply
"Arent you fine? now look below" I say to him while looking at the ground
Ainz looks down and see a giant dome covering a great part of the forest
"Is this... like that world item from before?"
"Nah, is just a simple barrier. See that guy there with modern time clothes? Thats this world protagonist" I point down to a certain guy with black hair, he is speaking to a pink haired maid right now
"This world protagonist... That normal human? didnt you said that this world has powerful people? Why the world protagonist has no powers?" Ainz asks as he cant understand the world protagonist being that weak
"Well... I think its better if we see his status window to understand it better" I says and then make a screen in front of us

"Is this really a title? Its more like a curse. If you combine it with his power... isnt he gonna die almost daily?" Ainz says in shock after seeing this, after that he goes to see his title description...
"... and i tought i was having it hard... im glad of my situation now"
"Yup. Lets see how his actual life ends" I clap my hands and the world around us starts to move like a fast forward movie... until it stops
We glance down to see a panicking subaru running on snow
"Uhh... i think i remember this... this is not going to end well..." I say with a weird face
"What do you me-" Before Ainz can finish asking, Subaru is bitten by a rabbit, losing a finger
As he goes back in horror and pain, more and more white rabbits appears
When he is about to run a bunny bite his feet off making him fall to the snow. When he looks back, he can see his complete leg... except for a feet being eaten by a rabbit
He starts to scream as more and more rabbits near him
As he tries to crawl away the rabbits start to eat him alive. Bit by bit
A rabbit gouge his eye off
Another one enters his mouth to eat him from the inside
Another one enters from his stomach
He is being eaten alive in a very violent way
As we watch in shock, the world around us starts to crumble...
...
We are back where we first got
"Well... that was... disturbing" Ainz says as a green hue appears above him
"Watching it live is worse than i thought" I say while using divine spells to calm my mind
"How is he right now? I mean, he will remember being eaten alive, right?" A concerned Ainz asks
Before i answers, the world around us turns black and white
Ainz: ????
"Well, now he is talking to a witch... so the world is paused until he returns. Want to see?" I asks and open a screen in front of us, showing a concernigly calm subaru talking like nothing happened with a white haired woman
"Why is he so calm?"
"He is forced to be calm in that witch domains" I answers
Subaru talks to that witch and we listen, they dont know we are watching
"You know... doesnt this feels... wrong? i mean, we are spying on them"
"You are gonna get used to it" I answers
...
We continues to watch as he tries and tries to complete his objective
By now Ainz is even questioning how is that human sane, as we have watched how he was eaten many times
Just after restarting, Ainz asks me
"Can i talk to him? I really want to know what he has in his mind, or atleast confirm if he is still sane"
"Sure, i will be watching from the sky, you can even use your normal form to talk to him. He has seen worse" I answers and dissapear, leaving a lone Ainz on the streets
"I guess... lets go. {Gate}" Ainz says and then enters a Gate

Inside the Sactuary, Subaru is on his room while hugging his head while trying to find a correct path to his desired end
Suddendly a red portal appears in front of him, making him startled
'This has never happened in any loop' He thought to himself and starts to think how to run
A giant 2.5 metters skeleton appears from the red portal, making subaru very nervous
"Is... is this finally over for me? Has death finally came to take me?!" Subaru asks while looking a little crazy
Subaru suddendly heards a sigh coming from the skeleton
"Natsuki Subaru, i have been watching you for some time, and i wanted to speak with you. The human who appears to be broken but is still sane" Ainz says with his Overlord voice
"You have been watching me...? Then do you know that i can return from-" Before he could finish a heart pain makes him curb
"Interesting... i can see a very deep darkness inside of you, it got even more pronounced when you said that..." Ainz says to him
"You can... see the curse?" A shocked Subaru asks
"Indeed i can, also i came to ask you... why do you try so hard, why you repeat this never ending suffering and keep going?"
"I... i want to save emilia... ram... rem... everyone... i want to save those who are dear to me!" Subaru says with tears on his eyes
"Is this so important to repeteat this so many times? I have seen you and can say that you could have archieved a good path many times, but you refused that and wanted to have everything"
"Yes... i know, i could end this anytime but-" Subari gaze at Ainz
"If i do that i will lose some people who are dear to me. I want to save them even if i have to suffer" A determinated Subari says
"Even if that determinations ends breaking you?" Ainz asks
"Yes. But i wont break! Even if i break one or two times... i will be fine the next time! i can repeat this until i got the ending i want!"
"haha... HAHAHAHA" Ainz suddendly start laughing, only stopping when a green hue appears above him
"Well then, Natsuki Subaru, i will help you archieve you good ending!" Ainz majestically said
Ainz can see his old self in Subaru, doing a meaningless thing over and over trying to archieve a different result. Subaru determination also make him remember how he waited for his friends until the very end, only for them to never appear
"Help... me?" Subaru is shocked as he cant believe someone like that will help him
'Someone like that? ... i dont care. Even if i have to work with the devil i will do it. I will do everything to archieve my Good Ending' Subaru thought and clench his fists, having more determination than ever.
