Hi. It's me.
I've been a way for a while. Which is an understatement, really. To be honest, I've never stopped writing. Mostly for myself.
Just not of this story, unfortunately. Recently I've been updating and on this site/app or whatever, more.
I'm writing a new story. Another fanfic. Not of Avatar: The Last Airbender, though.
It's a DC Comics fanfic. And, I was planning on ignoring this ATLA fanfic, until I finished my new one.
Except I felt worse and worse when I kept getting comments asking where I've been. So I want to explain some of the problems I have.
My problem with writing is that I read a lot. And I get inspired a lot. And I lose interest in stories I was previously interested in writing for new ones, ad infinitum. Not to mention how a lot of the time I write by the seat of my pants. Which is very fun, but also hard.
Of course, this doesn't excuse anything. I really feel like I failed you guys.
The truth is, I'm not going to be able to return to this fic for a while. I'm putting all my attention on my new one, planning, outlining, researching, ect. So that when I do return to this one, which I will, I'll actually have a complete plan and ending in mind. One of my biggest problems with writing is that I hate endings. I never write endings or have them in mind.
Hell, most of the webnovels and books I have booked marked, I haven't even finished! Because I just don't want them to end.
You all know The Legendary Mechanic, right? I've reread it at least six times. But I've never gotten past chapter 1421. Yeah.
That's not even mentioning how I've recently turned into a fully fledged adult. Legally, at least. I don't actually feel like one, but you all probably knows how it goes.
So, I will return to this fic. Eventually. I'm eighteen and have more maturing to do, so I have time. Just not before GTA 6 unfortunately.
I don't know what else to say, so yeah.
