Niange stared at the face that was close at hand. In the past, he had not felt much, but when his memory suddenly returned, he found this face so familiar that it made his heart tremble. He was silent for a while before he spoke, "How have you been?"
Momo tugged at the corners of her lips, not knowing why the words she had once longed to hear now suddenly sounded particularly disgusting. She turned her head, glancing sideways at Niange with a shallow smile, "That's none of your business."
A faint dimness passed across Niange's eyes. He found himself at a loss for words, his gaze remaining on Momo.
Seeing Niange not speaking, Momo naturally chose to be silent as well.
Some time had passed before Niange broke the quiet, "Momo, I heard you're releasing a new album. If you need help, you can ask me—I—"
"No need." Momo cut off Niange without even thinking, crisply rejecting him.
