The reunion with Roy Henderson gave today's meal a special significance.
During the meal, Roy Henderson recounted the things he and Owen Chapman had encountered over the years. He glossed over many details, but everyone knew that for two thirteen-year-old children to survive the great flood and achieve what they had today, they must have endured unimaginable hardships.
He was also curious about how everyone else had fared over the years, so Quincy told him all about their experiences. When Roy learned they had been captured by the Savage Tribe and subjected to all kinds of persecution, he was too upset to speak.
When he found out that Annie was the child Chase Underwood and Serena Lynch had adopted, he also guessed why the others weren't here.
"Where are you living now?"
