After dinner, Evelyn Ford invited Ronan Kendrick out for a walk, and it was then she noticed he seemed troubled.
"What's on your mind?"
Ronan Kendrick stopped and looked down at Evelyn Ford. "I've been working out with Ethan Dawson and the others these past few days. The results have been pretty good."
"Mhm, I know." Evelyn Ford's gaze dropped to his stomach. "Your abs are gorgeous."
A small smile played on Ronan Kendrick's lips. "Do you think I need to improve them? They said bigger pecs would look better."
"You're already perfect just the way you are. Muscles that are too bulky can actually look a little intimidating. Your lean, defined physique is already top-tier."
His expression was unreadable. "Do you like it?"
"Of course I do. I love you most of all. I love every single part of you." Evelyn Ford took his hand. "Ronan, are you unhappy? If something's bothering you, you have to tell me. Otherwise, I'll worry."
