Shangyuan Perfected Person moved with gentle steps, yet ascended gradually upon those long stairs of cloud and mist. At every step, a burst of celestial music rose, bolts of conch sounded grandly, and the clouds on each side transformed into Immortal Children and Immortal Fairies, carrying baskets of flowers, scattering white jade blossoms like snowflakes that drifted down with curling white smoke.
Each illusory maiden had her own unique bearing, lively and graceful, their attire coordinated to perfection, as vivid as living beings. One or two even raised their heads to look, curiously gazing toward the Zifu above in the sky.
The white mist above grew ever broader, with pavilions and towers scattered artfully among them, all gathered around Shangyuan Perfected Person. Nearby, one or two Zifu watched with puzzled expressions, whispering softly:
