The Tang Army has basically deduced the entire intention of the Allied Forces opposite them, knowing even the approximate direction of their attack and the strength of their participating forces; they were just short of investigating the enemy commander's surname and what food he liked.
On the Allied Forces' side, they also believed they had a rough understanding of the Tang Army's basic deployment: in the area of Hotwind Port, the Great Tang Empire had only two corps, the 1st Corps and the 10th Corps.
According to the attack plan, the Suthers Empire troops in the south mainly restrained the renowned, strong-combat 1st Corps of the Great Tang, with assistance from the Elf troops on the side.
The real main attack was still the northernmost Laines' troops. They needed to penetrate the 10th Corps of the Tang Army's defense line, putting up a posture of encircling Hotwind Port.
